Agreed: mornings are proper drinking time! :hihi:

(Speaking of which, my coffee-tequila is calling...)

I usually don't drink anything harder than beer (and rarely more than two or three) - I'm a sissy after all and also my health is very dear to me...

I didn't insult you. I asked why it was someone else's fault if you misread the thread title. Misreading happens all the time, and isn't an insult where I come from (I have misread things too, but I don't normally blame other people when I do). I don't know where the 'mentally handicapped' and 'reading disability' stuff comes in, or why you brought it up.

I also don't know how your misreading a thread title translates to an elitist establishment working against you. It's that type of comment that has people challenging what you wrote.

But I apologize if my post sounded like I was trying to insult you. I have a headache right now, so perhaps I was too abrupt.

It gives both the listener and the composer time to listen to all the music, and provide feedback and communicate toughts. Some people choose not to become involved in discussion, some do. Again, it's a personal freedom offered to all that want to participate.

So, if I understand you correctly, you dont want to take the time to communicate with other musicians, and as a result, you tag them as elitist?

Scoops, first of all thanks for your reply - no, you misunderstood me...

I also think that this communication is very important but first of all I think the signal-to-noise ratio is very high and then many themes just don't interest me so I want to be able to completely skip those months.

I guess those of you who post here saying I should have noticed that the thread I read was for april already knew it before you posted it because you've been discussing it here - perhaps in february - might that be true?

Let's stick to the contest here people, and not get carried away. Another month, another contest, another chance.

And a big thanks to Offthewall for my #2 vote!

I dunno - I don't seem to be able to explain myself so I'll stop here - pperhaps it's my headaches, perhaps it's becasue I'm not communicating in my native language perhaps it's both - but anyway it seems to come across diffrently than I actually mean it.

funny, I just noticed this - so we both think a miscommunication might be going on because we've got a headache - the it must probably be true!

Ahhhhh..... The old signal to noise ratio :hihi:
The number of discussion boards that exsist on the internet that have a low s 2 n ratio, I think, are far and few between. I accept this as being part of the territory, and easily accept it as part of the way of life on a discussion board as such.

In Jens defense, I have read through discussions on many differnt sites. It's easy to miss a point here and there.

So, with that being said, lets just move on.

I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

Great fun! You captured a lot of the prog-essence with this one. Kind of a Monty Python approach to Prog Rock.
Now that you mention it, if I'd wound up with a few extra seconds, I was going to have some voices paraphrasing Monty Python at the very end, very quiet...

"Oh, that's sad..."
"No it's not: it's allegory!"

Thanks for the kind words: glad it was fun for you too!
