I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

oh my... some of the bands in the wikipedia list I've never listened too
...
It seems like a Rhodes/Wurlitzer + guitar should be the core instruments?

when the theme for this month's contest first came up in the february gossip thread, i immediately thought "disco", and then shuddered in mild revulsion. as it turns out, i wasn't giving that decade enough credit.
had to edit this post because i missed the word "prog" in the submission guidelines. sigh. after reading the wikipedia info, i can clearly see that my goal to receive more than 0 votes this month may already be in jeapordy.

Actually like mentioned above, the real challenge is making a prog rock song under 2 minutes...

Anyway, can a piece of music be pr0g r0ck if it's shorter than 7 minutes?
I knew this question would come up, so I have a prepared statement:
"Now that's the challenge now, isn't it"

What!!!??? A prog-rock competition with a maximum track length of 2 minutes? Isn't that like rabbit stew without rabbit? Or whatever?

I just found out that my favorite band is considered prog rock too... It's no news that I suck at genres...
