Only one little display glitch.
Hehe, that'll have to wait until we rewrite the drawing code for windows :-)

That's cool, I know it is a tiny nit; everything else is at such a high level...

I'm not seeing this new slew control, despite Zebra showing 2.5.2 in the top box.
I installed over an old directory, maybe that's the problem?

The new versions (at least the Mac VSTs) install
to a folder call "u-he" rather than being the
individual plugins. I had the same problem as
a result.

You need to make sure you replace the following directories with the new ones.

Code: Select all

Zebra2.data\Data\
Zebra2.data\Support\
Your LFOs should look like this:

Thanks for all these updates.
Although I don't have a 64bit daw, I am lucky enough to have the whole line of U-he plugins. So I will try all these versions plus ACE1.1 in different projects with various U-he plugins together, and some automation to check for any problems.
Thanks again for the updates.

An additional Christmas comes at August 1 this year, with 64 flavour and many long due bug fixes for all products released in a few days.
It must be a big "liberation" Urs, no?

I guess the time is coming for u-he to focus on the forthcoming monsters and shake the VST scene with them :)

Not mentioning the cool whole new website. I hope I can be forgiven for a couple of quick OT suggestions:

1) What about a small "what's new/history" section for each plugin?
2) When you post a news item, the creation date is shown - I think it would be much better showing the last updated date.
3) What about an RSS Feed channel for news beside the mail newsletter?

Again, big thanks and congrats for the releases.

Hmmm... I'll check... maybe I forgot to copy the gui config file to VST Mac...

I noticed that some popular hosts show an alphabetical list of plugins, with Zebra literally hidden in a "more plugins" submenu. Stuffing all plugs into a u-he folder solved that issue. You can of course move it wherever you like ;-)

I looked in (Mac) Reaper's list of VSTi - Zebra isn't there now (although Zebralette is).

It is a liberation, definately. And I'm absolutely looking forward to working on the new stuff :)

A version history for each plugin is planned, we simply have to write those articles and copy paste from the readme files.

Yeah... creation date vs. update... we're still learning the odds of Joomla...

RSS feed is cool, but we usually won't have that many updates. We'll however try to add more integration with everything, e.g. our Facebook page (which *gulp* you can like, but not go to from the website yet)

And in 1-2 days we'll finally have that big newsletter.

Hmmm... kill Steinberg or Cockos? Or both?

Thanks a lot, that was the issue. The shortcut/symlink in my vstplugins folder referred to the wrong folder, so it was loading old stuff.

Now to figure out how to use this Slew control :D

Issues with Zebra here (v 2.5.1) - trying to save a new patch in h2p format into a New Folder in my User Library, nothing happens, I can only save in au preset format not in h2p nor in h2p extended - any ideas?

EDIT: Updating to version 2.5.2 solved the issue, I can now save again :)
