It's pretty telling when there are so many people posting ad hominem attacks and yet there's no mod and no Dom telling them to stop. Calling people names for expressing their opinions ought to be unacceptable here and if you're doing it you are part of the problem.
We were lied to by Bitwig, like it or not. If you cannot see the irony in calling people babies on an internet forum then I'm laughing at you. Why falsely lump everyone in this thread with legitimate concerns into a big group that you can tear down with a few words? Why are you so threatened? You are not contributing anything to this conversation by calling people names, and in fact you only add fuel to the flames.
I do not have $700 phone nor would I ever purchase such a monstrosity. My phone cost 1/10 that (no plan) and it's great. We are not all the same person, and the fact that there are unrelated materialistic trends in the world has nothing to do with Bitwig's responsibility to their customers.

So for me thats a downvote for Bitwig AND a downvote for Studio One. I can use Ableton or another app that supports it.Coockie1176ln wrote:studio one doesnt have that either still been out longer then bitwighumanbeingbeing wrote:That's still an issue!? wow, it's worse than I thought, that is good test for 2.0 then, if they have vst3 support and no vst undo that's a bad sign, fingers crossed.panox80 wrote:they want annual money for update ok,new company policy, for someone is cool for other no
..but in 3 years they don't fixed "VST UNDO" so if i have bitwig 1 and don't update to 2 i stay with a daw doesn't able to undo an operation in a vst?
amazing!

anyway if you are happy to work without undo i'm happy for you coockie
this update is not what i'm waiting for to stimolate to re-buy a license, and like more people says ,is no sense to pay 150 for year to do again beta tester

Does ableton really support that? I have ableton and has never once worked for me though I stopped using it before 9.7 so did it come with/after that?humanbeingbeing wrote:So for me thats a downvote for Bitwig AND a downvote for Studio One. Ableton doesnt have ARA or comping and layes like studio one snd smart tool in studio one i love! Can someone tell me how smart tool works in bitwig 2.0? Undo to me on vsti isnt a big missing function, they have it in fl but thats not a selling feature to me. were is the perfect dawhumanbeingbeing wrote:So for me thats a downvote for Bitwig AND a downvote for Studio One. Studio one's comping deserves an upvote, but I've kinda gotten away from the standard linear arrangement DAW, I prefer Ableton and Bitwig's live session style.Coockie1176ln wrote:Ableton doesnt have ARA or comping and layes like studio one snd smart tool in studio one i love! it's not about infinite or not. It's about undo on 3rd party vst right? Well, most tuff i use has that integrated anyway.

(maschine for example in evry daw is a nightmare if you want "undo" ,it only work from his panel menu or from hardware)
