Me too. Still crashing in my case.

Many wav's are working, some not. I still have no idea why.

The wav's i sent are from a free Rapture soundbank from Muz3um which contained hundreds of single cycle waves. Link: http://www.patcharena.com/index.php?opt ... nfo&id=643

Looks like some of them are also in the new waveforms in 1.9.9.15. I made a link for the zip of a folder which causes crashes here: http://rapidshare.com/files/269843324/M ... Roland.zip

Hmm, Francesco should be asked to let his work included in the further versions. I can only get some KVR profiel info about him

I could even use the included waves, but at vst start; when scanning(!) the muz3um folder in whole, live crashes.
So KV331, just copy all muz3um wavs into a muz3um folder then put it into the Userwaveforms directory.

I'm testing it on my home machine right now!

On standalone, works fine!
Om vsti, works fine again!

So here's my suggestions:

Delete files: under Resources\UserWaveforms\WaveformCache
Delete files: under Resources\UserWaveforms\WavetableCache
Delete file: Resources\UserWaveforms\SynthMasterUserWaveforms.xml

If i delete those files even the folders with the working patches crash Synthmaster. For making them work aigain i had to copy always only 3 folders at a time. more folders lead to a crash. Seems to be a problem with the amount of wavs you add at one time. The patches which didn't work so far still crash Synthmaster.

UPDATE:

The problem really seems to be the amount of wav files you add at one time. I tried to load only 20 wav files from the Roland folder (link above) on one time and then scanning them into Synthmaster and it worked. If i try to add more then around 20 wav's Synthmaster crashes while scanning. Besides this some of the wav files seem to cause a problem. In the Roland folder it's the Jupiter 4 and the System 100 files.

Confirmed with Moog wav's. I loaded a folder with Moog wav's (71 files all over) in three parts which worked. All at one time crashed Synthmaster while scanning.

UPDATE: files which cause crashes in the Roland folder: "Fr4 - Jupiter 4 2_inv" and "Fr4 - Roland System-100 7_inv.wav"

Finally I'm getting somewhere! I'm debugging with Reaper right now, and it gave me a "HEAP CORRUPTION" error!

DAMN! My bad

Files longer than 31 characthers was causing trouble!
Fixing now!

In version 1.9.9.16 the VST version doesn't seem to be recognized by Ableton Live. I also tried a fresh install (without my extra waveforms), no change. The standalone version works fine.

It sees mine though.
When using a really mild echo effect with higher feedback, occasionally it creates some louder after-sound.

I'm having some headache with making massive pad sounds with analog waveforms. Sorry but I really can't figure out how to make huge detuned sounds. Using additive mode is thin and limited to va waveforms. Using wavetable mode with those velocity knobs don't change the sound no matter how deep velocity modulation I apply and how hard I bash or set those two knobs. They make no difference in sound for me. Even at 8x unison things sound only louder. I'm still missing those two unison knobs. If it is not hard to do, please implement them.

I'd also request better MSEG point parameter names. Such as L1M1P35X would mean layer1 mseg1's 35. point's X position

This reads like whoo complex but it can be renamed at host and currently everything has the same name in ableton (Layer 1 Multi)
It's the same with other envelopes, I can't do parameter mapping fast cause renaming is a pain.

Also, the center area which when clicked activates the vertical linear handling should be extended. I have to aim like a sniper to just increase things a little bit.

I haven't tried other things extensively yet. But when I'll come to the effects and arp and modulators etc.. I'll have novels to write

When filter cutoff is maximum, the graph don't look like that. Like no filter is activated or dunno, it should be grey in the proper areas

Also It'd be a really useful addition if changes would be added real-time
Like when changing drop-down menu things. This issue is mostly noticeable at the arpeggiator. When trying to change arp speed and range and etc. 1/6 and 1/12 tempo should be added.

Hey, just got online.

I'm testing 1.9.9.16 with Reaper in a couple of minutes, I'm on dialup right now, so it'll take me a while to download Reaper

As for unison, I'll look into that!

As for fine editing knobs, use Shift+Click. That'll let you edit parameters in x10 resolution.
