i think you mean at VI-Control. but still meant per voice effects, well it is a normal term for it. the thread in the other forum was full of miscommunication, i was not clear, i think.felis wrote: Fri Oct 27, 2023 10:14 pm I just read your similar post on another forum, and you described 'per voice' effects as being able to use multiple fx on a voice. Yes, of course you can do that.
In my previous answer where I said no, I thought you were asking about 'per note' fx - such as playing notes C, E, G, and using a phaser, but each note would be processed individualy with that phaser. AFAIK, Halion doesn't do that.
in another forum, steinberg forum, i got thé answer, no per voice fx.
as you describe it; each note/voice is processed individualy, of course with modulation, or else it does not make sense.
mostly i use it for MPE, per voice, but not necessarily.
did buy, did i already mention it, HALion 7 after all, within the bundle of Absolute 6.
because well, it is still a beast, and i only scratching the surface; the spectral synth; the wavetable resynthesis!! and the whole wavetable 'zone'..
well; and all the other things.
strangely nobody knows, only the developer, how it will sound.... so still MYTHical..
but it will come, ETA; NAMM 2024. and i will make a handfull of presets for it, so i am also very eager to try it out.
but back to HALion 7!
