Yes pls email me the simplified project (preferably a project without plugins) together with the precise steps i have to take to repeat the issue starting from opening the project.

MuLab App M10.0.46 beta is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

MuLab Plugin M10.0.46 beta is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/plugin/la ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • M10.0.45 introduced a dumb new bug into MuLab 10 Plugin for Mac which caused it not able to launch. Fixed.
  • Front Panels: Copying a Tab Frame did not copy the tab area looks to the new Tab Frame. Fixed.
  • PolySynth: Inserting a Rack Slot in the PolySynth is not allowed, but was not yet blocked. Fixed.
If you would have made projects or presets with a Rack Slot inside a PolySynth, please make sure to resolve that unsupported case by replacing it by a Module Slot.

Um, it's probably mentioned in the thread but where so I pick the default rows and columns for a VST without a UI? mdaPiano, for example, does not look good spanning two monitors.

Typical! I can't reproduce it now!
I have a feeling it may have been due to an old preset being incompatible or something. I normally use the MuLab/Tools/Upgrade *** to upgrade everything in MuLab after a major release. Maybe something went wrong with this one?
I even went back to an old backup of the entire MuLab folder, but still couldn't reproduce it?!
If it happens again, I'll email the project.

During this, I noticed a minor issue, unrelated, when clicking to drag a rack slot unintentionally, then letting go of the mouse button over the original location deletes the item in that slot. Is that meant to happen? Thankfully the Undo rectified it. :tu:

I'm also unsure if you deleted my FR a few posts back or if I made a mistake when posting and inadvertently went back instead of submitting?
Due to the uncertainty, I'll repost:
When using the collapse all racks option, could we please have the ability to lock certain racks so not all racks are collapsed. So, a sort of pinning option, leaving those racks open when clicking collapse all. Thank you.

This indeed is not expected behavior. Taken note.

No i did not delete anything.

Maybe in some future update.

Also, when I use the Module Slot Setup to select only "List Plugin Synths", when I open the chooser, it list "All", "MuTools" and "Plugins" still, with the default being "MuTools" (and the MuTools audio generators listed).

No such option atm.
MuLab takes to square root of the number of parms and uses that as column <> row balance.

In fact that's not wrong. The MuTools Audio Generators are not "MUX Presets".
So in fact you're requesting extra options to control whether certain groups of MUX modules should be included or not. Maybe in some future update.

Thanks Jo :tu:

Hum. Jo, I've managed to crash both MuLab App and MuLab Plugin switching stuff in a module slot -- I've sent the logs.

Well I'm only ever getting one row. Zebralette for example (even though it has its own UI, that didn't show) got displayed stretching across my two monitors several times over.

I can't repeat none of these 2 issues.
Zebralette properly shows its custom editor.
And if i explicitly choose "Show In Generic Editor" then the 92 parameters are spread over 10 rows.

So please make a screen video and also share the MuLab logfile respective to that screen video.

(Firefox refused to play this - no idea why. Media Player Classic plays it okay. The original Avi appears to have been recorded at 2-3 times real time - I chose 30fps.)
http://peter.drealm.info/media/AppMovie ... 153423.mp4 - no related log file was saved.

It's related to the setup options... possibly "Embed Parameters"? Yep, seems repeatable there for me: turn on "Embed parameters" and I get one line of generic UI; turn it off, and everything works.

It's also what triggers the crash I mentioned earlier. ("Windows has reported the problem to Microsoft" but it'll be the same freeze point, I expect - I've emailed the log.) It managed to switch back and forth with mdaEPiano but trying it with Zebra2 CLAP froze it.

Post

Indeed the video doesn't play in FireFox so i can't easily watch it. But thanks to your extra text i now realize you're talking about the case where you plug in a VST/CLAP, eg. Zebralette, into a Module Slot, then switch on Embed Parameters and indeed then you get a wide pure horizontal array of plugin parameters, 92 in case of Zebralette. This case indeed must be reviewed. Taken note. Thanks for reporting it.

Got another minor bug -- it looks like when I create a Note Key Mapper, whilst it does the work and carries on working, if I go in to edit it, the display has reset (C4 is selected and nothing else).

(It's also rather tedious having to have a separate plug in for each incoming note to map to a single, unrelated, outgoing note - although I understand that's not intended as its main purpose. A quick 1:1 multi-line mapping list would be handy.)
