Hey Squids, think you could get the AT Jimi Hendrix Edition thingy to work inside regular AT2 if you own both? I'd much rather just open up one GIU and have it all there than trying to chain two separate AT2 versions together. Heck, you can even apply that comment to SVX.
Perhaps liscencing issues prevent that or something, but I'd be a lot cooler if I could do stuff like run one of the Tube Screamer into one of the JHE Marshall's then out into an SVX bass cab or something, all from one plug-in.

You WILL be able to do this on the Stomp IO version. I am not sure about the regular plug-in version but maybe there too.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Hey Squids, think you could get the AT Jimi Hendrix Edition thingy to work inside regular AT2 if you own both? Oh, I thought that we would be able to use both in the same UI.Squids wrote:You WILL be able to do this on the Stomp IO version. At least this is what I understood from this part:
It didn't mention any stompIO specific functionality.IKMM wrote: Not only will the Jimi Hendrix Edition allow you to get that authentic Hendrix sound but it can also be integrated within AmpliTube 2 to expand the available stomps, amps and cabinets. The Jimi Hendrix Edition will add some of the most rare and collectible stomps and amps that guitarist crave the most. Mix and match them with the entire selection of other AmpliTube 2 components for one of the most complete collections of vintage gear ever made available for playing and recording.

edit: happy 329 for real, and ust to be on topic i have to say i tried the demo 3 times in my 10 days(i knew it!) but really liked the sound and the reaction to the volume knob(using a radial JDI in my MOTU traveler mic pre), and for a software limited by bits, i'm even more impressed than when we got that first POD1 back in 1998 or 9(and that was a revelation)

I co-hosted the IK press conference mainly to pop in with commentary like "yeah, isn't that cool?" and the usual Squids energy boost (also to talk about Miroslav Classik Edition which was announced). Anyway, here's a pic of me holding up the Stomp IO while the CEO of IK speaks. (I want to keep that one from the show too... working on it!
