Heck he looks like Elvis ..... no I mean Billy Joel. OK more like Peter Gabriel...

Just teasing Squids. Damn the Stomp I/O looks great. What kind of 'puter is that in the pic. I have never seen such a thin Lappy.

I thought he was from the Sopranos

Nah, I just played it for the past hour and it's actually the perfect size for the spacing of the switches (with plenty of them) and of course you can position your 6 expression or switch pedals any way you want. It's great, really. I love it. Most of you will too.

Yeah! That's for sure. So, when will the price be announced?

Anyway, here's a pic of me holding up the Stomp IO while the CEO of IK speaks. (I want to keep that one from the show too... working on it! ;) ).

LOL, Squids, you look very enthousiastic on that picture

NOT!! (I feel like Borat ..."this is black.....................NOT")

On a side note, I wasen't aware that IKMM's CEO is that young! I thought that he would be an old hag. What is this guy's story? he started out as a programmer?

.

I don't he'd appreciate it if I talked about him in the forum. But there have been some intereviews on the net if you really want to know the background of IK and the people behind it.

I'll tell him you think he looks young. I am sure he'll be thrilled.

Meanwhile apparently I look like Wayne Newton. I don't know if anyone has ever seen the movie "Lost in America" but there's a great quote from that about him. Albert Brooks.

By the way, I think I get to keep one of the Stomp IO's from the show. :D Yay! hehe. It's good to be the Squid. ;)

I googled him and I found very interristing stuff about his career. Apparently he is a musician. I also found out from his interviews that he appreciates his collaboration with Sonic Reality a lot.

It is good to have somebody in these forums that is in close collaboration with IKMM.

I will now take the opprotunity now Dave to thank you for all your efforts in channeling our feedback to where it matters, and for helping the KVR community to make a difference.

Much appreciated.

You're welcome. I think the direct communication I've had over the years on KVR has definitely helped to shape things at IK and of course at SR too. A lot of people here buy from www.esoundz.com because of my efforts here as well so what comes around goes around I guess. Although I am one who thinks that the new way of doing business is to involve the users more because afterall you are making or sellling the products to them. Most companies are too large to have that sort of personal touch but Sonic Reality and the variety of developers here who subsequently have opened their company forums on KVR are a part of this change whether we realize it or not. I think there a lot of benefits from this direct communication that wouldn't have happened years ago.

Hmm...

While waiting for the official NAMM video of AT2JHE I went and revisited the only sound and video bits we have of it. It is a short clip on youtube:

I noticed something strange. Altough there was some attendees at the IKMM booth, at the end of the performance, the band gets no applauds! not even a single one! ... I hope it is not due to the tonal quality of the upcoming release of the Hendrix edition!

Maybe I am over-analysing....

C'mon IKMM give us the video clip already! :)

Post

Oh! Just logged on to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/ and guess what? :)

The video clips from NAMM are up!!!

I am off to watch them now.
