Their reverb plugins play nicely with one another. And it is funny like many have mentioned... I picked Aether to be my only reverb choice, but now I love my choices between Aether, Breeze, B2, ValhallRoom and yes... I will be adding ValhallaVintageVerb at somepoint too. The great thing about having worked with them for so long, is that I know exactly when I want to use each one.
Anyway... moving back to topic. Looking forward to the next beta version (of Aether).

Didn't really seem like a hijack there where Casey was just asking not to use his product's name in Aether presets (which the thread was about). Sean came along and just wanted some tech talk I guess (didn't mention his own products though).xtrax wrote:LOL.Sampleconstruct wrote:LOL fellow devs hijacking the Aether thread.

Given the date of the post, I don't think I had any products to sell yet. I was probably just young (if 40 can be considered young, which it can't) and excited about talking shop with developers. Nowadays it takes a lot for me to butt into another developer's thread. Like someone talking about other devs highjacking a thread, which seemed like a perfect opportunity to post Boz Scaggs videos.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Didn't really seem like a hijack there where Casey was just asking not to use his product's name in Aether presets (which the thread was about). Anyway, congratulations to Andrew et al for getting the 64-bit AUs/VSTs released, and good luck with the AAX ports! (and the horrible Pace Eden signing that all AAX plugins require)

Ya, I have a lot of respect for all the other verb developers. It's a small community. It's nice to be able to talk shop some with people who know the technical details. The details of the work is not exactly "chick magnet" material, so sometimes it is a lonely world.

Hello everyone,Galbanum wrote:Aether 1.6.0 in action (and some B2 also):

On the topic of Aether 1.6 in action, I am still having problems getting Aether 1.6 into action, so to speak. I am having problems installing Aether 1.6 for use in Digital Performer 8.01 on a Mac using 10.8.3. After I have installed Aether, I get the message "failed to get entry point in audio plug-in module. Plug-in is not properly installed." I even tried turning the plug-in from within Digital Performer at which point it crashed the host. Any ideas?? I have been so anxiously/patiently waiting to get Aether and Breeze to run on my 64bit host that I trust there is a work around here!!
Thanks in advance for any help,
Dave Kochan

@ Sampleconstruct
Verb preset sounds amazing by the way, this could be soundtrack for some new Sci-Fi movie.
Thanks for sharing.

Naah, no whales - violin samples - 2 glissandi through the natural harmonics of the D and A strings used in Alchemy, 2 sources in granular mode and 2 sources with resynthed derivatives of those samples.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Sounds cool!
