Any suggestions to make it more fabulous and mega neon? Does it sound damp still?
This is actually pretty good, just boost the levels. And 8-bit the whole damn thing. Done.

Richard, if you just threw that together, you sir are a genius.

Well, I've got my 4th 5 pointer for this month. I have room for just one more.

My gut tells me that $200 top prize is at least a little incentive for all this great music. Of course you 4 guys are always near the top anyway, but still. Who can't use $200? LOL.

Good luck Richard. Really loved this one. Brings me back to my late 20s.

Hi everyone.

Here is my tune for the month. I have no idea what it is really :D Certainly not anything like what I listen to!

https://soundcloud.com/zarf/zarf-cheap-laser-dance-club

Ableton, 30 Noisemakers
Ableton eqs, compressors, delays, reverbs, and an auto-filter so I didn't have to take the time to automate an eq.
Ferric TDS 3rd party.

After all the amazing music already submitted... ah well. I'll just keep practicing :) Enjoy!

Thanks a bunch for taking a look. I might just do that, depending on how the SFX sounds

Thank you
Really, I did most of the percussion sounds early in the month, then... nothing, threw away 4 terrible ideas and just about gave up.
What got me going again was having a go at a bit of a remix of Mechanought's excellent tune from last month. I guess doing something completely different helped to inspire me again.
If this takes you back that's mission accomplished :)

Because at the beginning, I didn't know I'd hate the rules. Plus, I wanted to see how well I could do against the rest of the field. Now that I have the answer to that question, having been in quite a few of these.I can stop.
Hi wag, yes I see your point, it's similar to what I guessed, I don't have many wise words
for you, but I can say that I sympathize with your choice, it makes sense to me. And also I sympathize with these other things you wrote...

Thanks, by the way!
Sorry if it sounded like that, I didn't mean to put him on the spot.
But just honestly interested in his experience. <wink>

Is the time up? Damn, I thought KVR time was in some American timezone and I would have some hours left to finish my track...

As of right now, you have about 5-6 hours left. It's technically midnight US-Mountain time, I think, but a few minutes late probably won't disqualify you.

Is it? In the rules it says what counts is the displayed KVR time, so I thought it´s over for me since I live in Germany...

"It is currently Thu Jun 30, 2016 6:55 pm", when it is 7:55 EST, so... US-Central time. Still 5 hours before the official deadline. But, really, as long as it is Jun 30 anywhere in the world, I don't think you'll have a problem getting submitted.
