When you purchase a plugin physically at a store, do you actually get it in a fancy box? I thought all those product boxes illustrations that you see in plugin advertisements, are'nt actual product boxes.ferez21 wrote:29$ for Ohmicide at GC. In Store purchase only though.

I think these things are incentives to get you into the shop. I'd buy it if it were that price online.

The Guitar Center $29 specials are generally registration cards inside DVD cases.ferez21 wrote:When you purchase a plugin physically at a store, do you actually get it in a fancy box? I am going to GC this afternoon, and they have the same deals as MF. If anyone wants one of these specials, I can pick it up for them. I would ask you to prepay the sale price + 15% to cover sales tax and Paypal fees. I can only get them if they are in stock. I'll check the inventory on the web first, but that is not always accurate. If it's not in stock, I'll send your money back.
I'll open the box and send you the download /activation code. I doubt there is a CD in the box; my recent Sugar Bytes purchases did not have one. If there is, I'll upload the CD ISO image to Dropbox.
I've bought and sold on KVR many times, and just doing this to help out. Send me a PM and let me know if want me to get something for you.

Just a tiny update about the Arturia Dubstep Serial story. I finally received the license key and unlock code by the Musicians Friend chat. He couldn't explain what went wrong but he told me that the order was in some sort of queue. He then just pasted the serial and I could register it an Arturia's website. So anyone that didn't get the serial number yet I suggest you contact their chat-support.

I am doing that now. The chat person is claiming that an email was sent with the serial number. I never received it. He has tried to resend the email twice.Hans25 wrote:Just a tiny update about the Arturia Dubstep Serial story. I finally received the license key and unlock code by the Musicians Friend chat. Your ISP may have their IP, or IP block, on a blacklist. It happens sometimes. Try another email address?Gribs wrote:I am doing that now. Tell them to insert the serial in the chat instead because you don't receive the emails they keep sending. Just tell them that this was the way others had to get it (by chat).Gribs wrote:I am doing that now. The chat person is claiming that an email was sent with the serial number. I never received it. Yes, retail stores in the US charge a state sales tax, which is usually just under 10%. I think this is much less than the VAT. Do you have a problem with me helping others get a good deal? Rounding taxes and Paypal fees to 15% may net me about a dollar per transaction. I can find better ways to make a dollar with my time. I'm not doing this for the money.valerian_777 wrote:Hans25 wrote:We should nominate you to KVR-star of the year.Ciberithm wrote:I am going to GC this afternoon, and they have the same deals as MF. Actually, 15% is about right. Ironically, SalemBeats is in one of the only states that doesn't charge tax. If he could taper his expectations down just a tad, he could create a situation where everyone pays less AND he still gets to pocket some money for himself.valerian_777 wrote:Taxes? Really?
