Speaking of Waves, has anyone seen this for less than $37?

I couldn't... was hoping for $25 or less, like the one-day sales, etc.

Regarding Black Fri./Cyber Mon. (BF/CM?): just hang in there.

My recollection is that the freebies alone were decent last year.

I've got too much as it is, but there's always room for better and/or cheaper.

One bad thing as you acquire more is finding stuff for less than you paid for it.

It seems like there have been some great deals throughout this last year... might be hard to top much, actually.

Checked with Waves Universe. Waiting for a move. Maybe also Plugindiscounts, since H-Delay was sub $25 :)

Right on, I don't really need it, but I am allowing myself to add Waves, though only at the lowest prices.

I actually ended up getting the Scheps 73 for $20, counting a $10 paypal credit first purchase credit.

The H-Comp might make a good match-up for that, and I have the H-Delay.

I'll check the usual suspects you mentioned later.

You realise that's a book about the best freeware VSTs, right ?

So there's a Sampletekk sale on. General sale from Saturday at -50% but customers get a head-start at -60%.
But which one to choose?
Should tell you what I have already: Pianoteq 5, the Komplete 10 ones (Definitive Collection), Piano in Blue, Spitfire Plucked Piano, EightyEight2, UVI Grand collection and the ones in Logic Pro X and Sampletank 3.
So what could Sampletekk add? The new MKII versions of Bösendorfer, Emperor, Old Lady or even Blue Grand? Any other?
Thanks for helping out, guys.

Post

I have the older versions of the Bösendorfer, and Old Lady...and they both sound really nice to me (fwiw). I also have Pianoteq v4, and I'll sometimes double track one of these with it to add a bit of "wood" (ymmv).

An interesting thing with Wave Alchemy is that I had put an item in my basket when they did a sale a long time ago. I never checked out.

When I log back in there now, that item still in my basket, at sales price, even though the sale is long time over :o

Thinking of the UVI Mini deal, IMO it's worth checking out the "issues" section of my review:

The prices at 60% off makes these products affordable:

PMI Bösendorfer 290 MKII = $31,6
PMI The Emperor MKII = $31,6
PMI The Old Lady MKII = $31,6
The Blue Grand MKII = $23,6

Had I been a Piano-head I would most def get the PMI's

The Blue Grand I would skip, "ambient" piano isn't that just samples with reverb?
