I wish I could find more sliders (faders) because knobs I can easily do and they look so-so to nice but faders I just can't get them to look worth a darn.

well, I tried to do the same image in skinman. It didn't turn out that well, however its not skinman, my current computer doesn't have the power handle it it, it seized on me a few time, so I cant really do much without it freezing up its crawling with just this. Although its not a really good image it does show that with work its certainly possible. Anyway heres the pic and the file...

best to just go to my blog, the links here will be dead as they are all changed now. I do have several faders through out the 4 knobman files and the there are faders in the Skinman GUI_templates as well, but they are same faders included in the panel elements set 1 file on the blog.

There now (finally) and they are really nice.

Question. How do you make them? Do you make them with photoshop or did you find a real life photo and modify it? I suck at drawing so a bit stuck there.

with faders it depends. sometime I make completely in Knobman and other time I make them in PHS and do the animation in Knobman. Reason I would use PHS in this case more often is that I can work without using the aspect parameter in the primatives making things a bit quicker for me......

this is gonna be the GUI for my next project (or maybe the one after, depending on my mood) its not finished, but the basic stuff is there (just various bits to tweak, i havent even started the synth side yet, so probs lots to tweak actually)

all made in SkinMan, and the knobs made in KnobMan(by JS, chhers!)

..oh, and the switches i made in PaintShop Pro7
