It’s not unlike the W*lmart Black Friday deal where you can get a 55” 4k TV for $120 - IF you’re one of the 20 customers in early enough to grab it! Sh*t moves a hellalot faster online - if there’s a run: an online store can be out of whatever before the item’s page on their website reflects it - the lag might result in the online store continuing to sell something that’s gone.

I think the kilohearts deal was legit - GC simply ran out of the serials they had gotten cheaper from kilohearts

But apparently no one has received a serial yet.

Y’all might be right - maybe GC messed up - but I’ve seen the kilohearts ultimate bundle being sold for $100 a few years ago. So to me: the pricing isn’t crazy; just really low.

I can see a micro-company like kilohearts agreeing to a tactic that would benefit both themselves and Guitar Center: fire sale a few dozen serials for mutual attention - nobody gets hurt; goal achieved.

I think it’s the season, and the weight of GC’s infrastructure that slows down the actual fulfillment of serials.

Yeah but when added to the cart it's $99, so I'm not sure what I can do. I won't bother with it.

Have you checked in the cart? It doesn't always arrives in the email.

Examigan: maybe just send the screenshot to kilohearts and explain what happened. If the price was legit: they might send you a coupon that will allow you to get the price when you checkout using kilohearts’ store.

…or even if it isn’t legit: kilohearts may honor the screenshot pricing anyway. I’d personally try

^I forwarded screenshot of price I sent to GC.
They responded they'll get to it in 2-3 business days, longer if during busy period.
By the time they see it, it may be too late.

It was a pretty obvious mistake. Someone probably just read the wrong rows on their spreadsheet (swapped the price with Multipass).

I don't understand how someone would be held accountable for this unless it can be proven that it was a predatory bait-and-switch. Even if it can be proven, what would be the point of doing it? It's not like the old days where we're trying to get people into our stores.

sorry I mentioned it. Was ready to bite on that
too but checked the trial and found out that it won’t work on high sierra. was fortunate earlier
this year to get Drumazon 2 and Notion for $29
each under similar “misprint” circumstances.

It's being reported that they honored $49 Phase Plant for one person but canceled it for several others. Interesting.
