I had also purchased Phase Plant from Kilohearts for $49 and also received an invoice/confirmation,
but no license yet.
And yes: I can imagine that there won't be a deal because of the very low price...
If it doesn't work out and I at least get my money back, that would be ok too.
However, now I have reached someone at Guitar Center via the chat and described my situation.
The agent was really nice and this was his (preliminary) answer:

"It looks like there was a hold placed on the order. The system placed that hold because of the price the plugin was sold at. The team that reviews these orders is unfortunately not going to be in until tomorrow, but I'll keep an eye on this for you and reach out to them if the plugin is not sent by the time they're in."

Let's wait and see...

No, honoring the price they sold it for and have already charged me for would be the right thing to do. You make the mistake you take the loss. That's the honorable thing to do but I realize honor is dead so I'm sure they'll weasel out of it. I don't think I have to tell you where you can stick your "$5 gift voucher".

To put some perspective on this, there's very little profit margin on plugins and the money they'd lose on this deal is likely more than they'll ever make on Kilohearts. Also, the person who made the mistake would definitely lose their job.

Even if GC doesn’t sell Phase Plant to you guys because of the price difference ($50 is not that much, btw) - show your evidence of the sale to you by GC to Kilohearts themselves: they could literally just send you a serial! Or more likely a coupon code that will price-match GC’s F*up- It's a loss of revenue, on K’s part - but their thinking would likely be that you’d be more inclined to spend $ on their products in the future…

It’s the spirit of the season, too, btw. A lot of businesses do donations to charities, etc. and frankly tend to be more generous with their pricing - the trend is that you get more for your money now then at any other time of the year.
