had that exact same thing in standalone mode, i was thinking it was the demo time limit, so i restarted, same patch, same feedback, overload and it stopped my audio interface, had to unplug replug, restart
I got them going on this (I think?) through tech support......got a couple of back and forths happening.....would be great if you guys gave them a holla since I'm certain it's macintel only. I've got it on my pc and it's working fine......
who do I write? Thanks
Ik multi.........er, I'm guessing there is a way for unregistered users to complain (jeeez, I hope so.)

Maybe I'm wrong?

I couldn't resist anymore, broke down and bought it. Between the two demos (mac, then pc) there was not even one time that I was bummed or "unsure" (other than the mac/loopy/feedbacky/quitty thing.....which is mostly a preset thing)

I think I've already said it, but this is the most "viby" and satisfactory guitar plug I've used/owned but I have to say that I think it helps that I have a UAD solo 610 up front, and an eric clapton strat. They seem to be made for each other........

the preset is star spangled banner 2

That's the only one you are having an issue with?

for me it's like HALF the presets, and seems to happen when switching pres.......

On windows.......I'm having NO issues......

Post

You'll have to forgive me.............I realize I'm being way too much of a fan-boy.........

this is the most playable, enjoyable, everything-able plug in.......I'm loosing sleep over it.......

I've never had so much fun!

Post

btw I think that the least expensive place to get it in the US is here http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=1638
Also the quickest, they ship from Florida.

Boxes are ready, so it is hot now...

I've become very fond of that Mosrite fuzz ;-)

Ok...I'm with hibidy...this thing just plain f'in rocks. The feedback is even perfectly random...good gawd...I feel like I'm back on stage again ;-)

Yeah, I really liked that too...but you know, it's really the interaction between the wah, the 'vibe, and the fuzz. The amp model itself is pretty dead (just go direct into it...AT1 all over again).

You can get pretty much the same type 'vibe going using freeware:

Try running this stuff into your favorite amp sim:

Coyote Wah

UniVibe - from the SimulAnalog Guitar Suite

Buz Fuzz - I think it is in the OLD buzzroom VST Plugins Pack

The mixer adds more clean signal which makes the 'vibe's sweep more subtle, and suprisingly makes it sound more eccentric like the one in JHE. I have been told this is probably "due to the phase distortion between the wet and the dry signal. It would introduce phase cancellations very much depending on the filters frequencies, order and number involved".

The thing that keeps blowing my mind is that it's a "hell yeah" fest everytime I use it!

During the demos (mac and pc) I did everything to talk myself out of it. Frankly, I've liked GR more to taste than amplitube, but this is different. The simulation aspect seems to have taken a hike and it's more like a real amp/setup to me. Especially the crunchy/cleanish stuff......man does that seem real..........

anyways.........

Thanks much Guitarzan for the freeware-setup and explanations. I collect stuff like this, always learn from such things, it's really much appreciated.

Thanks for the info...unfortunately, those are all PC and I'm on a mac....but I still have my AT2JHE!

Man, you Mac guys got it rough...those are just my 'A' list of freebies for each catagory of effect! I didn't know you guys had already purchased JHE. I really liked the demo too, but after I took it all apart it really came down to the Fuzz Face and the Uni'Vibe for me, and now after tweaking I'm just as happy with the freebies.

@Klemperer: Thank you, I'm glad the info may be useful to you! :)

I'm still working in my demos but I'll have something in a week or so at the minimum...it rocks...
