simple question, I think:
I have two boxes - a rectangle and a box. They are just borders, no fill. I would like to "conenct them so the perimeter is one large "T" shape. I forget how, though. I believe it has to do with the shape+/- etc., but I couldn't find it in the helpfile on the site. any tips?

yes, it does in part. You first have to move of the shape into the other within the tree and then use the mention selection.

actually that doesn't work with border. I just tried it out and one of the border remains but the other added a fill area which I couldn't remove. what you can do is create the shape that you want with the two shape using the fill and + then create another two that will block out those fill areas and use the - , of course these are all included into the one shape so adjusting the size of it mean that you have to adjust all layers individually so a great deal more work. None the less this will fake in that border. I did this in my templates often.ouroboros wrote:Doh! of course
