Downsizing is not a good sign though, and there's no way to sell it to me when you make as many products as NI do. The marketing speak NI posted was beyond thick, at murder trial defense team levels of nonsense.

I feel just the opposite.. the statements that NI provided seem rather clear and honest.

I never worked in marketing so I can't interpret downsizing in companies that are supposedly moving towards bigger things as positive.

And the downsizing is likely a good sign that will lead to smarter overall product development within a unified environment of Komplete/Maschine/Traktor.

Sure, because downsizing is always a good answer for a successful company with no noticeable market decline, who just were infused with investment money last year. I'm sorry but I just can't interpret it as anything more than a cash grab to show investors "progress".
Here's and example of what I see as corporate double speak.

We are making money, but we are not making money.. IMO they're squeezing profits to make a showing. I suppose it's possible that they're cutting employees to fund larger servers, because everything points to a more "content based" approach, i.e. loops and sample players are moving to the forefront. Time will tell.
