I told them my issue was their guis being too small and unclear for my fading eyesight. I see the new version of the PSP 42 is re-sizable.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:49 pmEh, alright. Thanks for the info. I've only got one thing I wanted to sell so I guess I won't. During that process they're asking you why you want to sell their oh so cool plugins.
Quite annoying procedure and policy.
This was the reason for me to stop using their stuff.

I also got asked why I was transferring, it might be their chance to find issues and improve their products. I'm selling Twin L for €24 My last PSP product, gone with TDR.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:49 pmEh, alright. Thanks for the info. Posted on the no chat thread and I feel it's important to add that Native Access is needed to authorize it. Requires Windows 10 minimum to run and no longer works on Windows 7, 8, 8.1.Examigan wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:35 pm FM8 for $10.50

It should work with the legacy Native Access, no? Some of their newer stuff can't be authorized that way (e.g. you'd be stuck on an old version of Reaktor) but I don't think FM8 has been updated in a long time.BBFG# wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:50 pmPosted on the no chat thread and I feel it's important to add that Native Access is needed to authorize it. It didn't for me. Once installed and started, it went right into a self update that "couldn't install dependencies". Contacting support received no reply.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:53 pmIt should work with the legacy Native Access, no? Yeah it worked for me here with Windows 10. I believe I have the latest version of Native Access, but am not on my home PC to check.

Weird. I haven't tried it with an old version of Windows, but I have used it with Linux since the new Native Access doesn't work there. Got FM8 installed in that environment no problem. They do list it as compatible with Win 7 and 8 so you'd think it'd work there.BBFG# wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 7:25 pmIt didn't for me. It may be that after I uninstall NA completely that I need to strip the registry of folders, programdata strings and reboot from off. I've had to do that before. This is the third suggestion tried that I got from members here without resolution or any reply from NI support though. And I've already dumped Massive, FM8 and Absynth because of it. It is a matter of time of how long it would work if it did get working again. Have my Maschine(s) up for sale and am really very close to just being done with them ASAP. Just mitigating my separation from them as much as possible now. IME, Any deal from them should have caveats included in the post.Greenstorm33 wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 11:42 pmWeird. Fair enough, probably best to not depend on them to keep the web services running for an old version of NA anyways. The writing is probably on the wall for FM8 sooner or later also. I'm hoping they'll be forced to keep Massive around since I like it and it's such an integral part of their dozens of Maschine expansions. Fingers crossed.BBFG# wrote: Mon Jan 01, 2024 1:10 amIt may be that after I uninstall NA completely that I need to strip the registry of folders, programdata strings and reboot from off. yes total nonsense. They ask why you sold to get feedback obviously. you don't even have to tell them if that offends you and they will still transfer the plugin. for free I might addThe Noodlist wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 5:46 pmI also got asked why I was transferring, it might be their chance to find issues and improve their products. Out of interest why did you get rid of TDR? Surplus to requirements with the other stuff you had?

Ah, makes sense. Thanks for your feedback. The discount equates to about 50% off the retail price, so a great deal in that sense considering your use case. I do have and love Addictive Drums and XO and it is why I thought it may be worth demoing Life. However, I didn't find much use of it for me at the moment, so maybe in the future.wfm wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 3:49 am Re: LoveEnigma: It appears you've decided, no worries. I got LIFE as I'm always making
these 'environmental recordings' on a small stereo tascam and thought it would be fun.
I also really like XLN's Addictive Drummer and XO.
The discounts made up my mind. I wouldn't have jumped at full price.
