They don't sell this through dealers. They may be offering a deal on it direct.

I hoped they would do through dealers too, but that's life.

One question, guys:

I am thinking about buying some SoundToys plug-ins, but I do not own nor plan to buy a physical iLok.
So I would wait for version 5 to use them, which will allow usage without a hardware dongle.

But, on the JRR homepage it says:

"SoundToys licenses are deposited directly to your iLok account by SoundToys themselves. Once you purchase this from us, please immediately send us your iLok ID and email address so that way we may forward it to SoundToys."

I'm sorry, that's outdated. They've recently changed their licensing system and we'll simply send you a license code now, which you can register after 5 comes out.

I have no problem with Uncle E or JRRShop and have enjoyed the bargains over the years, but I do find it funny and slightly ironic that in order to address the feelings of spamming expressed by me and others he posted 24 times in 4 hours in this thread.

How many of those were responses to the complaints and/or questions directed to them about their purchases though? Context means more than simple numbers and the only irony I've gathered from all this is the amount of posting going on around it in pros & cons. Considering the intent of this ongoing thread, that only puts all of us discussing it ad nauseam as more of a problem. Letting it go takes so much less space and time...

If any poster gets annoying to somebody else, there is always the option to mute that poster. You will still see that they post, but not what they are posting, could be an option to try out.
