Probably meant to be $26.99 for 30 (I'm sure they will correct it later).
Looks like they also have other bundles set for release: pick 10 for $899 and pick 5 for $499. Obviously those prices cannot be correct. I think they're going to move the decimal to the left two spots.
If these are actual bundles coming soon I'm going to be mad that I just bought the $49.99 Tracks 5 Max V2 (just to get two plugins that I needed to complete the set).
Looks like a good way for IK to round up the last bunch of suckers who didn't fall for the current 49.99 T-Racks Max v2 deal.
As long as every single user has buyer's remorse at the end of the day IK is doing their job.
Really does seem like a fire sale is coming. Anticipating that somebody might be getting out of the software side of things.

That's OK, I can wait a few days. I'm just trying not to think about the fact that someone new to IK can get all 53 effects for the same price I'll be paying for the 5 or 6 I haven't purchased over the years.
But that's IK's well known modus operandi and I have had the plugins to use for all this time so I suppose it balances out.......

How many additional T-Racks plugins are there compared to Total Studio Max 3.5? I think there are a decent number of them.

Well, Bain Capital buys them, I could see it.Teksonik wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:31 pm
I can't imagine a company as large as IK going out of business but "Grand Finale sale" does have a rather ominous ring to it....![]()

Thanks, that's right on the edge of what I'd be willing to pay at this point. I checked today and I'm actually missing nine of the TRacks plugins but five of them are Tape plugins, Leslie, Mic Room, De-Esser and British Channel. So not much left that I really need as I've passed over all of them at some point when picking the buy one get X free choices. British channel was so close to the White Channel that it didn't make sense wasting a freebie pick on it but it might get some use now.
Still it would be nice to finish off the collection. I do love the TRacks plugins for sound, function, and appearance so I suppose having them all wouldn't hurt.

Why buy a profitable company then put it out of business or buy an unprofitable business?
Of course Vulture errr I mean Venture Capitalists are known to do some crazy things.
IK is a privately held company so Bain couldn't just buy up a bunch of stock and force them out. But if you dump a suitcase full of cash on someone's desk they can be persuaded to do almost anything. Still, return on investment is the mantra of companies like Bain.
I feel pretty confident in saying that IK is not going out of business any time soon based on their hardware and software portfolio but anything can happen in a global economy.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to cause so much speculation. I’m 100% certain they mean it’s the end of life of T-RackS 5 MAX, nothing more. They’ll probably discontinue it, then run the annual group buy, and then launch T-RackS 6 after.

Out of curiosity, what have been the differences between T-Racks versions? Do they update all of them to something new, update a few of them but keep the others, or just add new ones?

Perhaps they are going to start with a subscription buisness model?Teksonik wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:31 pmI can't imagine a company as large as IK going out of business but "Grand Finale sale" does have a rather ominous ring to it....![]()
Since I don't have T-Racks plugins this deal might be worth it for me.
