Are you sure ?

The inphonik stuff originally wasn't through beatport access, then it was and I guess due to complaints to inphonik (myself included) PB changed it back to not through access as this email was sent out on 6th June

Interesting. I did not receive that email. I also complained. I stand corrected. Guess my cynicism was not completely justified here. Thanks for sharing that info.

I'm buying less software based on distribution. Anyone ever check how many downloading apps they have installed? Native Access is the worst. I still prefer direct downloads.
Funny how developers spend more time on those apps than anything else. If PB is going in that direction there's not enough of their monthly free offerings to temp me to buy from them.

I stopped buying from PB because of that insulting Capcha. A waste of time and no other big retailer does this. I dont have any issue with Native Access

That captcha is a pain in the rump. I have learned that you shouldn't look too closely. If it isn't a main part of the image then they don't expect you to click on it. For example a piece of a bus that is marginally in another cell would not be clicked on even though it is part of the bus. Regardless I don't blame you a bit.

Yeah the Captcha kept failing for me when I was trying to buy something from PB and I tried three different browsers same issue. I sent a message to PB saying "I'm literally trying to give you my money and you won't take it because of the stupid Captcha". They seem to have fixed that issue now at least but I agree Captcha sucks and is a waste of time when you're trying to just pay for something. It still does fail sometimes for me which is a PIA so I'm trying to avoid any sites that use Captcha.

Except for the constant up/down connection of NTK Daemon.exe even if you're not using any of their plugins and even if you don't have a DAW open. It can be manually deleted but will just get reinstalled with a Native Access update.

Something to think about when considering a purchase from Native Instruments.

I agree with the inconvenience of it. But, to make it easier, you can click on the headphones icon and do an audio CAPTCHA instead. Those ones don't fail like the image ones.

Heh, that PB Captcha comes up with some inexplicable failures quite often as well, agreed it's pretty lame. I'd like to think its there for a reason though, I do recall they had some trust issues in the past where they were getting blocked by the big services like gmail and whatnot, perhaps this measure is related.

I had to go thru many failed attempts just to log in to me Reason account. As you get older you get more visually challenged.

There are other forums out there with complaints about Native Asshat. It's fine if it works but unlike other distribution (cr)apps this one is quite faulty. You are also not allowed to keep the current working version as it will update anyway. It's worse than a virus. Then you have to go to their forum and find a link to a previous working version.

Hi there!

I didn't get this message either, but I just went to check my PB account and my RX950 is still only showing links to Beatport Access for downloads. Did the links in your account update automatically? Anyone else here in the same situation before I contact them directly?

I don't think they fixed it yet, I have 2 different RX950's in my account now so I presume they have added an extra with new links but the links to download still give Beatport Access for both versions :hihi:

Ah, same here, a second RX950 has appeared at the top of my list of plugins, but still with the same old Beatport Access links. I'll give them a few more days and then contact them. Thanks for the quick reply!

For my recent purchases I have bought Monark for $19, and that Music Creators/Humble Bundle for $20. There's only 3 more days left for that bundle deal, so I thought I'd post that here as a reminder.
