for me, it's working as expected, unless i'm missing something... what host are you using it in?

Thanks so much for these midi plugins.

I think I'll be using the midi velocity scaler first. One thing I've been looking for as a plugin is a midi 'dynamics' scaler for velocity; and your plugin is the closest I've seen.

I'm thinking of a velocity scaler where it acts like a compressor, up to a certain velocity, no scale change happens, and then above a threshold velocity, the output velocity of the plugin is scaled according to some multiplier; multiplier less than 1 for 'compression' and greater than 1 for 'expansion' with a limit of 127 of course.

this wouldn't be difficult... i'm putting it on my list, but i don't have much free time right now.

for now you could also try "VelocityCurveSM" (http://platinumears.com/VelocityCurveSM.rar). there are no numbers, and it's hard to make corners, but it might work...

Thanks for any help.

insertpizhere,
A couple of things:

midiVelocityScale
- I'm getting 2 Note On events for every input note (the second one has a velocity of 1),
- and I'm not usre how the Release Velocities are menat to work.

midiNRPNConverter_GUI
- several of the control seem not to have any values assoicated with them ??

Oh, and ...

you're right, it looks like it's converting the note-off to a note-on with velocity 1. will fix that tonight. once that works, maybe the release velocity will start making sense.

most of the parameters are blank when the "Coarse In" is set to "None"... and the (N)RPN controls aren't used when input or output is set to "CC"... is that what you mean?

me neither, but the guy who requested it hasn't complained (?)

by the way, would it be difficult to arrange the buttons into a piano keyboard shape on midiForceToKey?
