It looks pretty cool actually. I hope it all works really well for you.

I do plan to give it a short demo spin when there is a demo, I'm a technology nut so I demo lots of stuff anyway. Anyway, best wishes my friend.

Screw learning and just load your templates. You're just like me about my complaints :-).

I love this update and still want my money back. After 17 years you'd think I could fly this kite, but no.

I still applaud.

Hmmm.. there are lots of positive points in your post.. in fact more than the negatives... just to make sure.. we are talking about SONAR here.. SONAR.. it's made by Cakwalk

sure you are not drunk? may be it's the wrong thread.. Reaper thread is somewhere nearby :-D

Just kidding man, glad to hear that you are liking it.

Now, if you can elaborate little bit on those three bad points then I can try it. If it's specific to X2 then forget it, I don't have it yet.

hibidy - I just tried and had no problem dynamically changing tempo while drum grooves play in Dim Pro.

And I can scroll the Prochannel, no problem, on my laptop touchpad.

X2, build 308, 64 bit running on Windows 7.

GACK!

I assume they brought everything from producer expanded to X2 producer cause if I am not mistaken that pro-channel mouse scrolling thing was introduced with expanded.

Tried Dim Pro grooves, no problem here.

As it goes, I couldn't scroll the prochannel in the inspector in X1 expanded (I could do in the console view though) - have you applied the latest fix, maybe that was what fixed it in X2?

I am still using X1 producer expanded and I am able to scroll pro-channel strip through mouse wheel in the inspector as well as console view. As I said this feature was introduced in expanded. Not sure why u r not able to scroll. Do you have enough elements in the pro-channel strip to scroll. I mean, if everything is visible then it won't :-D. just saying..

Just messing with it and I can scroll it undocked in inspector in X1, but not docked - well, actually, sometimes I can once I've undocked it and docked it again! It's quirky.

But I've not noticed this in X2 at all - it all seems to work perfectly.

EDIT: Doh! Has it really been that all this time it's because I'm trying to scroll it while hovering over the preset bar at the top of the Prochannel, which doesn't work, rather than anywhere else - where it works? And for some reason I was more inclined to do that in a docked X1 inspector than in an undocked one? Yes, I think so!!

Oh I see! I was talking about scrolling the prochannel when not all the modules fit on screen. That's what the scroll-wheel will do

But, yes, I can also scroll the elements, but I think you have to hold left-click down too (I'm not using a mouse here right now, I'm not at my desktop so I'm on a touchpad on my laptop, but I think the same principles apply?)

Post

No, mouse wheel doesn't work on Pro-channel to adjust the parameters even if you hold control or not.

Post

Yes, my bad - as you say, mousewheel doesn't work for individual parameters.

So, for the prochannel:

Left click and moving the mouse up/down will adjust parameters (or left clicking and dragging up/down/left/right on the EQ graphic).

Mousewheel is purely for scrolling the prochannel modules up and down if there are too many to fit on screen.
