There's also no need to have two PNGs for the same X used on osc and MSEG panes... I have just the one used there.

This would need a lot of editing. Not only would you need to move left panel elements to the bottom, but also you'd have to move all other stuff to the left. Maybe it's even easier to integrate that bottom panel to the first generation Redux.LFO8 wrote:I don't mind Zebra being quite tall, but I would like to reduce it's width by placing the side panel from the side to the bottom.

Haha. I sold my Virus C several years ago and bought Zebra. Never looked back sinceLFO8 wrote:Now that I am selling my Virus TI I will be leaning on Zebra much more once again.
Because that's how Zebra seems to work internally. Effects cannot be completely hidden, one is always displayed. Ditto arp, XY, etc.Mr D wrote:If i select the "Initialize" preset, why do i see the EQ and the arpeggiator?
Like ED pointed out; they are still there in the original skin. At all times it takes up the bottom section of the whole skin in 10 tabs no less.Mr D wrote:Yes, but when one is editing a normal skin Zebra patch (osc, envelopes, MSEG, modulation etc.), you see neither the Apr nor the XY, unless you go to the respective page. That's why i consider this skin to be more cluttered then the orig!
In my opinion, the main usability benefit of using the Redux interface is precisely the way it shows more modules in the same view. I believe (or at least, hope) this design principle isn't going to be changed. If anything, I'd like it to show even more, but the current design strikes a very good balance. Much better workflow this way, like has been pointed out. So, my strongest possible -1 for this oneMr D wrote: And even if stuff is being used, i don't want to see it all the time.
Same here. I love this threadLFO8 wrote:Now that I am selling my Virus TI I will be leaning on Zebra much more once again. Some don't find the looks of an instrument is that important. But for me it is. I find good workflow as well as pleasing ascetics greatly influence the pleasure I get from working with an instrument as well as how likely I am to reach for it in my toolbox.
