Any K5000 (S, W or R) had both additive and PCM modes for one of 6 parts of a patch.

Dear friends

I am new to KVR, and new to this whole softsynth thing, so please forgive me for asking dumb questions...

I think the K1V sound great!
So I thought I could retire my trusty K1 II. I tried to transfer the sounds via MIDI, but now I'm stuck.

I have not found out how to create a new, blank bank of sounds in the K1V, but that is only the lesser problem.

If I select Single IA-1 on my K1 and dump the block, the 32 sounds are transferred to the first page of bank "K1 Factory" in the K1V (which is not what I intended, I would prefer a fresh bank which I can save, but anyway...). Then I select Single iA-1 on my K1 and dump the block. Now, this goes to sounds iA-1 up to iC-3 on the K1V. iC-4 to iD-8 are not transferred.

I am sure I am doing something wrong, but can's figure out what it could be.

Any ideas?

I'm going to take a look what could cause this. Meanwhile as a side note, I use Universal Manager most of the time to do patch exchange with my K1. If you are interested, grab it here.

Works fine with Firefox 84.0.2 and Safari 14.0.1 in OS 10.14.6 Mojave!

Ouch, hidden feature exposed here.

I figured out that this validation tool is available on every mac. I fixed it and now all tests pass. I'll release an update shortly.
