I have a few of them and I think they're quite usable (speaking of pad sounds I'm interested in).

Most instruments (like Aquiver) have a feature rich design to manipulate/modulate the in-built FX or samples. Tons of samples. All of them are in Wav-format, at least the ones I have, so you can also use them with apps like Rando or whatever.

I'd say go for it if you have spare time to investigate this enormous collection. Otherwise they'll collect dust like the other 4.000.000 samples we all have on our hard disks.

Yeah, I read that their older things have the files stored in uncompressed format. I am still browsing the Sampletank Max library
