I've been lucky with these I guess... usually they ask if they did something wrong and offer me an additional 15-20% off if I will come back and complete the purchase...

Nope, Uncle, and don't know if they will. Until now it's only been the Electric Grand. Guess to be sure you 'd have to wait until Dec. 23 but in the meantime people can PM you if they want the Upright for $49.99

It appeared to me that Toontrack had no clue what an advent calendar sale meant and were surprised people expected a new sale each day.

I passed on the electric piano thing but I don't think I realized it came with a ton of MIDI files. How useable are the MIDI files in the EZ Key products? Can I load them into Sonar and use with other synths?

That's EXACTLY what I got it for. The electric key sounds are not works of art. Though I don't fully understand it yet, the midi files and the key generator are good.

I only paid 29 for mine, but the engine is the best part, not necessarily the sounds. Still, I'm interested in one of the pianos when it goes on sale.

Just want Metal Machinery to go on sale like every other SDX. Not that I'm a metal guy, but the raw sounds are certainly worth having, for lots of things. Doubt that'll happen for a while though, too new.

I didn't hear about that release at all, ran into it by accident looking for something in my account. Do they have an announcements mailing list?

Advent means "come" in latin. ”Adventus Domini” means the arrival of the Lord (guess who it is). There are 4 advent days before Christmas and it is always on Sundays. So if they really mean "advent"-calender there should be a bargain every Sunday until Christmas.

Doesn't really matter, I finally took the time to demo their EZKey stuff and if it shows up again at a bargain, I'd buy it this time.

If EZMix Lite hadn't been so much of a joke I might not have nearly completely written them off.
