I found these awfully loud crackles in the demo very painful, made me hit the delete button instead of the buy button.
I think that you could show your customers a little more respect.
Just my opinion, off course.

Congrats on the release!
One question about the delay: I've noticed that processing stops when there's no input and no output signal present (can happen with sparse sounds), which I guess is intentional to save on CPU?
It's a bit of a problem with one shots into a high feedback/long delay setting to get some "wannabe/pseudo Frippertronics" going. Could you implement an option to keep the processing active regardless?
No biggy though, as there's a simple workaround: feed some low level noise using a normaliser plugin e.g. from digitalfishphones. I haven't tried extensively what level is necessary, but found -135dB working OK. So at what threshold do you stop processing?
Oh yeah, and have great holidays - you've deserved it!

AFAIK yes, you just use the same serial on both machines ...macattackamac wrote:got em, thx god!!!

It's probably your host stopping the processing, not the plugin. A lot of hosts do that.dreamkeeper wrote:Congrats on the release!

What? The noise in the demo version was very soft for me.mbncp wrote:I found these awfully loud crackles in the demo very painful, made me hit the delete button instead of the buy button.

ya...I thought it was my cables or rf coming thru my set up- the demo noise was so unobtrusive (in my experience...) almost a subtle "listening to the radio" ambience more than a demo nuisancexx JPRacer xx wrote:What? sorry your system did not reproduce it that way...surely do not know why you heard it so loudly...

That is crazy... I thought it was very subtle. I HATE static interruptions in demos, but this was hardly noticeable. Oh well... one person's loss, but definitely not mine as I'm still lovin' these.blortblort wrote:ya...I thought it was my cables or rf coming thru my set up- the demo noise was so unobtrusive (in my experience...) almost a subtle "listening to the radio" ambience more than a demo nuisancexx JPRacer xx wrote:What? one thing i have to say: Love em all!!
don't regret for the purchase, ok, logic's own ones were pretty good, but these ones will add lots of colour on my tracks, that's for sure.
thanks Urs

loud crackles in the deom woulkd be much more likely to be coming from the host cpu overloading and stuttering than the soft noise produced intermittently by the demo
but that may not be the easiset thing to prove

Does the hum of muted tv sets make you cry also? Give me a break.mbncp wrote:I found these awfully loud crackles in the demo very painful, made me hit the delete button instead of the buy button.

I kinda liked the crackles, in fact I considered not registering for a while just so I could use that version in a track or two.

Aww.. did I miss the introductory special kvr thingy offer? I'm currently on vacation and would like to know if there are any specials going on still.
Btw, just tried the demo on this shitty laptop and even on my 1$ in-ear headphones I can tell the flanger and phaser in particular are amazing! They are UHnique!!
EDIT: had to add the phaser into the phrase as well!
Cheers!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Perhaps Urs should add it as a hidden feature into the full version. A level knob for the crackle noise that can be automated.
Cheers!

I already have a little feature request even though I have not yet bought the thing (waiting for an answer on that above question):
The Tremolo should definitely get a dry/wet control. I got some wicked sounds running it as an Aux effect. I know it might be confused with the phaser/flanger a bit but it does sound different and a wet/dry control would boost it's palette of possibilities. Especially the pattern thing is way cool with this. Oh and the haas delay could be doubled in length imho.
Cheers!
