I've come across a potential bug. In Renoise 2.1 on Mac OSX 10.6.1 using the beta 9, there are no automation items available to automate. I also have Uhbik plugs installed and they are fine. Just fyi.

I found something that crashes Live6 on my mac ppc osx10.4.11.
I accidently assigned twice, the same mod matrix slot to the same XY place.
It crashes, and is repeatable.

Well...I can give you the patch it happens in, but you'll have to try assigning the first slot in the matrix to the 1st X1 slot twice. I already transfered it to my pc before reading this, and am too lazy to do it again.

I did include the Live crash log though too. That should help a bit.

I can however not replicate the crash. When I assign something to the same XY it's already assigned to, it gets unassigned. Hmmm... will investigate a bit further...

Zebra permanent bug: dont work correctly with lefthand mouse (switched left/right buttons) - some controls work ok and some like righhand mouse.

I have experienced this issue with left handed mice as well, when you configure Windows' Mouse control panel to "Switch primary and secondary buttons". This is for generic mice configuration, though. I don't have any experience with dedicated mouse manufacturer's own software utilities, like Logitech.

Another small peculiarity I've noticed is that when using my Wacom drawing tablet (I usually prefer this over the mouse), my double-click button behaves like a right-click on Zebra knobs, so I have to double-tap the pen to reset the knob. This is not a big deal, but I find it odd that my double-click pen button works in absolutely everything else.

Hi Urs! I use the new Live 8.0.5 on Win XP and the non-demo Zebra 2.5b9 didn't open when being dragged onto a track, instead an error was displayed (I didn't write it down or remember the message, sadly

I reinstalled Zebra 2.5b9 but that didn't make it any better.
Right now Zebra isn't even displayed in Live's plugins list anymore. I already deleted Live 8 library preference files and had Live rebuild the Library. Didn't help either. Please help me I am desperate for a new Zebra

Since you deleted the Preferences, make sure you reset the VST Plugin Custom Folder in Live and that it's enabled. Toggle the On/Off button to get Live to rescan the plugins.

Hmmm... I'm really worried about these latest incidents. I fixed one bug yesterday, maybe it's that... but can't really believe it. I hope this is not going to be a weeks long bug hunt again...

Thanks for the hint bh9090, but I already did that with no success. A strange problem, maybe more luck with the next beta?

You can try to throw out every folder related to Zebra, except the presets, mseg's and waves. Then do a clean install.

Tried everything (now on Ableton Live 8.0.

, the Zebra doesn't show up in the Plugin list. The only thing strange: I couldn't find an entry inside my registry for Zebra yet. Should there be one, and if, where, so I can double check.
