I cannot see the simply better expansion I bought...

I think I might have used the wrong voucher... I do own Breeze 1, Aether and it's expansions.

How much was your upgrade from Breeze 1?

unfortunately it crashes live 9.7.5 on win7 64bit, in cubase 9.5.10 it is scanned and not blacklisted but upon opening the plugin no gui is shown (so as andrew said the problems are most probably gui related)

FL 12.5.1, win7 64-bit: crashes FL upon instantiation.

I'll give it some time. Hopefully things will be ironed out before the holiday promotion ends

From the product page:

This expansion will be fully complete in January 2018. It can be pre-ordered now, and will automatically show up in the "My Downloads" are of your account as soon as it is available.

This is a *correct* message. It is not an error. It means your CPU does not have AVX instructions. Your CPU is pre 2011 basically, and has only SSE support.

They are working on SSE support.

I didn't see any confirmation for El Cap, so...

El Cap 10.11.6
Logic 10.3.3
Mid-2015 15" MBP
2.2 GHz Core i7

Breeze 2 (downloaded today, including AAX in the installer) loaded perfectly. Sounds amazing.

It seems it may not be grabbing keystrokes though. I can't type in the search; they pass through to Logic.

Apologies if this is answered earlier in the thread, but is Breeze a cut-down version of Aether, or do they cover different territory?

They are totally different. Breeze might have more in common with B2 (but it´s still another beast).
