I was thinking something more like control of odd/even harmonics, or tubey/solid state kind of thing. Friendly warm vs unfriendly cold. Maybe the 'soft' control is already doing that (it says additional non-linearity and saturation)?
Love the fact that the unison modes maintain volume level, small things like that make a big difference. However, it would be nice for it to remember pan settings when cycling through unison modes.
