Klarna One-Time Card?sqigls wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 2:47 am Does anyone know where i can buy UAD stuff and pay in installments?
i want to buy the UAD Signature 2 bundle, and pay for it over time. I'm in Australia and PayPal doesn't seem to allow "Pay in 4" for anyone outside the US. cheers

Unfortunately they only have a list of partners to choose from, it's not possible to use it anywhere.Olnium wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 5:03 pmKlarna One-Time Card?sqigls wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 2:47 am Does anyone know where i can buy UAD stuff and pay in installments?

Paypal Pay in 4 is available in Australia, you need to find a vendor that supports it. The vendor has to support it, it's not paypal...
According to the web anyway, I do know for a fact that the vendor has to set it up, I ran into that
with Lunacy Audio, who doesn't support it. I had to buy their stuff at PB to get the pay in 4.
I use Pay in 4 a lot. I could buy a car with it if there was a vendor for that (pre-approved)...

Have you contacted them to ask for additional payment options? Perhaps they can bill you on a schedule with a PayPal invoice.

The one time card works differently to regular Klarna. You request an amount and they issue a virtual Visa card with a card number, expiry date, and CVV to that amount that you can use anywhere that accepts Visa. Any amount not used in that transaction is taken off of the remaining payments, so make sure to request enough to cover foreign exchange and any taxes. I've used it to buy software from Arturia, Audiodeluxe.com, and other places that aren't in their catalogue.sqigls wrote: Mon Mar 31, 2025 4:51 amUnfortunately they only have a list of partners to choose from, it's not possible to use it anywhere.Olnium wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 5:03 pmKlarna One-Time Card?sqigls wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 2:47 am Does anyone know where i can buy UAD stuff and pay in installments?

the only thing is, when i click create one time card, i get only a list of vendors, that's all. No other options.
i did think of it Friday, but the sale ends today (monday) and generally bigger companies don't answer emails over the weekend.telecharge wrote: Mon Mar 31, 2025 5:10 amHave you contacted them to ask for additional payment options? Perhaps they can bill you on a schedule with a PayPal invoice.
anyways, i'm sure UAD will be doing more sales soon. Seems to be the perpetual industry standard now. Sales every other day. There's always Black Friday
the Signature bundle looks great anyhoo. Glad UA came to the party with machine auths, i hope it works out for them.

Anyone checked out the new Output Co-Producer plugin? https://output.com/products/co-producer
It's subscription (affordable in my opinion), but looks really inspiring and interesting from "workflow" point of view and I am tempted to try it out at least being an Output fan. It's what I was expecting Splice to do long back. Splice Bridge isn't that intuitive/inspiring in my opinion. I know they went one step further with Studio One integration, but I wish they rather just made VST3/AU/AAX plugins for all DAWs instead. I love Splice samples but a workflow improvement like Output Co-Producer would be a game changer.

Seems like a lot of waiting for it to analyze, but if you can make mix changes at the same time, I guess that’s ok. Personally, I had an Arcade subscription at the beginning and found the sounds to be overproduced, and I still hear that in this video.

Yes, but actually you could even just search by words without needing it to analyze. I understand it may sound like defeating the purpose, but it works. The sound library is indeed from Arcade right now, but I read some comments by Output on YouTube that more sounds dedicated to Co-Producer are coming and will continue to come. I expect Co-Producer to evolve like Arcade, so hopefully it will become faster too.
The only thing I don't like about Arcade is that if you end the subscription it just doesn't allow you to access the UI at all.
Honestly, I am impressed more by the workflow of Co-Producer than anything else. For samples, I would still like to mostly use Splice or Cymatics, for example. But I have signed up for the Arcade and hence free 2 months trial of Co-Producer plugin as well (already have their effects). I may continue the subscription if I find it useful enough.
