It looks like pirated software. Just because they don't justify the prices that are well below market value, it's clear that they are not genuine software.

I didn't post this one in the No Chat thread because I'm not entirely sure that it's a killer deal. APD has a bundle deal for Amplitube 5 + Tonex for $50 for one day. But it doesn't say which versions of each. I already have almost all of the bits of A5 Max from past group buys, but would be interested in upgrading to Tonex Max from Tonex SE at this price.

Right now, IK has only two versions for sale on their site, the free TonexCS and Tonex Max. But the pics on APD's site don't reflect this, and SE has repeatedly flickered in and out of existence as a purchasable item, rather than just being linked to buying their hardware.

Anybody here have a theory, or willing to be the lab rat for this deal? If you don't already have these, it actually is a great deal.

They are the "standard" versions named TONEX and AmpliTube 5. You can see what is included in each in the comparison charts/documents on their respective "Versions" pages on our web site.

We do not have those versions for sale individually at this time because TONEX MAX and AmpliTube 5 MAX are both on promo for a lower price than those "standard" versions ($/€99.99 each) so we don't want anybody to be able to purchase a lower version and pay more. We do this whenever we have a version on sale for a lower price than other versions that come with less gear, etc.

But, like many here who've benefited from IK Group Buys over the years, I have no need for A5 Max. I would immediately buy Tonex Max if it ever hit $49.
