Boy, I didn't pay too much attention to this post...seems like things are really happening.

Did Uhe mentioned something about a "discount" for existing customers? I'm just too lazy to go through all these pages to find the answer. Is it possible to get the discount still? :) I'm HUGELY interested right now.

There is an introductory offer of $50 discount for everybody, and an additional $50 for existing customers. You will probably receive an email about it too. So if you are an existing customer you can get Uhbik for $99 until the end of January.

I support the idea of Wet/Dry controls. Not only because we usually use track effects in series for better live control, but also because Send/Return tracks on DAWs can be problematic with latency compensation and other quirks.

Oh, oh, oh. Where's that email! I'm at work now and can't check my mailbox! ARGH!

Nah, don't think so.

Did some more tests, and it seems to be tempo-related, or better: combination of host tempo and delay time. Try full delay time (16/16) at 60bpm - acts very strange here in eXT 1.4 and Sonar 6 (I'll test in XT2 and Reaper later). It seems that the delay buffer isn't properly emptied (I temporarily set feedback to 0 for "reset"), and earlier sounds are then only released together with the next input signal. At 70bpm and higher it's OK. Disable all but one tap to test.

I'd like to use very low tempo to achieve looooong delays - like I said, it works when feeding a bit noise. Got a loop of over 20sec at 10bpm going. I think that Uhbik D is great for that kind of application, it just sounds awesome.

Folks, what a christmas/new year experience...

Coincidentally cruising this thread, found Uhbik and got the "special" prize for the beta, gettin' the advice from someone here (hey guy, that was great!) to buy the "Ultimate Mastering Suite" from IK Multimedia with the CSR on top and - during their "million-sold-anything" promo - gettin' two more IK plugins for free, being overwhelmed with Urs' support, engagement and at last with the official release and the mind-blowing presets, listening to the last FXpansion BFD2 Extension Pack (the Octoban drums, called "Decatoms") in combination with Uhbik and thus loosing my orientation...

Whoo, i don't like drugs, but can anyone left me a warning if Urs want to bomb out something like this again? 8)

"i don't like drugs" is a lie but has anyone here spent the holidays without lies?

By the way, I compared CSR (and others) with Uhbik-Ambience for 100% wet vocals and found Uhbik-A to be the best choice for intelligibility and lushness. But CSR and A surely complement each other well enough to own both (especially for that price).

I thought the weakest of the Uhbiks was the reverb. I find it pretty metallic and weird somehow. I'd say the main attraction are the superb modulation effects, they really are unique in the plugin world, at least in my experience. I've never heard any other modulation plugin sound so smooth and "lush". They really do remind me of analogue phasers/flanger magic boutique boxes.

Cheers!

This is the first VST phaser I've liked

Is it true that in the future Uhbik might also include a Pitch Shifter or Timestreching plugin ?
Thanks

Funny how we perceive things differenty. I think the verb sits quite nicely in mixes. I haven't compared it to other verbs.
On the other hand I find the delay to be lacking something. Can't really put my finger on it.

The rest are classics.
