FWIW, i've seen double saw/ramp waveforms in a synth, and it WAS the equivalent to a saw 1 played one octave higher. But yeah, i kind of fail to see the point too.

I think the title will be "Evolve" (vol 01 & 02), while I don't know yet what the soundbank will be called.

Congratulations on reaching the century, btw - AROUND WITH UNCLE SEM was a glorious way to mark the occasion.
And 1690 was my favourite album of last year. (No - I don't mean 'by you'.)

Concerning an official release date of Icarus there is no final date yet. Markus told me it will be released if he feels it is done (whch includes additional bug fixing, features and presets where necessary). Currently it was planned to be released between May and "early summer" but you could be sure it will be released within the next months so it is NOT "vaporware" (the plugin is working and there are already tons of presets for it).

For those who do visit the Musikmesse in Frankfurt next week (i will be there all day at Friday the 8th of April) it could be possible that Icarus will be shown at the "Best Service" booth (Best Service is a distributor of Tone2 products) while i am not sure how much will be shown there.

You could expect that the final version of Icarus will be delivered with around 1000 Presets and maybe even more (hard to predict this exactly at the moment).

Personally i had done quite a lot of presets for Icarus already while i am not feeling i am even close to having fully explored everything that is possible yet. Somehow i have a feeling that this synth will keep me busy for a while.
Besides those of my Presets that will be included in the factory content i am planning to release a full Icarus soundset with 200 presets (or slghtly more if possible) in the near future while i am not sure how long this will take exactly (should not be finished before June this year but hopefully not too long after the official release of Icarus).

Tone2 will release Icarus - 3D WaveTable Synthesizer
