That seems a very likely candidate, for a number of reasons, including its dedicated 'noise' output. Perhaps even a stereo (mirrored stick-figure image) 'granular'* (and possibly vocoding) hybrid, that can load/record samples. :D

* = micro-sampling 'grains', which are typically 5 to 200 milliseconds (ms) long...

...'duration' and 'amplitude' (modulation)

... 'grains' or perhaps sequencer?

The Telharmonic had three 'voices' of twenty-four sine waves each, tuned to harmonic ratios of the fundamental. Note the cut-off text in lower left hand corner... The videos for it frequently use the term "elements" as a descriptor, and there are references to harmonics in the other images.

It's so hard to find videos of the 292 (not t) where people aren't using them to create self-administered quasi-musical enemas. Sorry, that's just my opinion man. I feel like having more than one will matter but the last thing that I'm going to do is to create a god-damned krell patch. I can't really get a good sense of how valuable having more flexibility in the design is going to be.
Verstaeker posted some good stuff recently:
Yeah, that's sort of the sound that I expect. I'm trying to sus out how useful having more than one that are less powerful than a more feature-rich LPG would be.
I don't know... do you feel like an LPG is actually something you will use? Maybe it's not something you need. Or maybe the point of the post was to talk yourself out of a purchase (which should be easy). Maybe a better exercise would be to try emulating the functions of the 292 with other stuff.
An LPG, yes, two LPGs, probably, four, I dunno. I really like the steady state gate, but at $259, it's not cheap either. I can't lie, I really like the buchla/tip-top modules. I should probably just get over it and buy one, it's not like I'll lose much if I decide to move it on later.

I dunno man... (price notwithstanding) seems to me, it would be a natural with the 281t, and the Behringer 1050. :tu:
No, exactly.

I'm not really catching any sort of clue in the song choices... St Elmo's Fire, Before The Next Teardrop Falls, Money For Nothing. But the sound itself seems like some kind of spectral shenanigans to me.

Ooh, maybe it's something else with the 0-Coast form factor. :D
Just caught that too… I also couldn’t pick up anything specific.

I would love another Make Noise desktop.
well, yeah, aside from the whole triple desktop stand thing i have

A true Make Noise fan would commit to the double triples and just get a second 0-ctrl at the same time.

And buy a second copy of all their modules, just in case.

Actually their interfaces are a perfect example of how NOT to do make interfaces.

Same here… Not likely this year, but I’d love to add another 0-Ctrl.

I go back and forth with this. I love their interfaces, but then hate when they add horizontal lines that don’t line up with other modules, like with Mimeophon that has different placements of horizontal lines on each side.

Then you look at Greyscale alternate faceplates for MN (and others), which are supposed to be cleaner, and they put horizontal lines on Dynamix that matches up with absolutely nothing else.

It’s not supposed to matter… and as I use them, it doesn’t matter, but when I unplug all the cables I see those damn lines.

Except for XPO and QPAS… damn, those look sexy together.

having absolutely no idea or taste of such things helps me.
sounds good/is useful and fits, they're my criteria :hihi:
then comes can i afford it today?
