I bought Plastique's licence from him (thanks plast and Jeff from SE), and had enough left to almost cover the licence I needed to update my CK modules (which the tap tempo used) to working versions.

Just waiting for the CK purchase to clear and then I'll see how well my audio in version of tap tempo will work.
Here are the plans I'm stealing :hihi:

Hello
Just bumping, to check if there had anything new around ?

(..and, BTW, i am also looking for 2 midi plugins to use in Reaper : a input quantize plugin, to have notes in perfect sync, and a "delete duplicate notes" plugin too... DOes it already exist ? I have found a "delete duplicate" plugin in a payware bundle but i have no need of the others, and i saw once a plugin by NickFit for quantizing, but i couldn't make it work - i guess it wasn't for the kind of quantize i'm after-)

cheers !

funkadil wrote:Whats a simple delay plugin that can help me with THIS: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2192274

EDIT: It has to be pretty complicated acutually because it has to compound the delay to compensate for notes in sequence.
this sounds like a combination of Live's warping and midi-stretching.
I don't know about the buffering though - no matter what, it can't recognize you want a note to be played, before you press the key. :hihi:

otherwise it would act somewhat like the "groove" plug in the Midi FX section.
you could set up one with a negative and one with a positive delay; blend between both grooves to slow down/speed up.
when you record without a click in Live, you edit the starting point of the sequence and then stretch the sequence/parts of it (that's really nice!) to fit to your chosen loop length.

with "warpable" midi grids in XT2, this will be a joy to do and bring a lot of life into lifeless midi loops. :hihi:

Hi all.

I'm waiting for Ext2beta gets his own midi out modules.
At that time, i'm trying to use Ext to control hardware midi gear.

So i have downloaded NickFit Midi Out plugin, but i don't know how to set up a channel ?
I would like to have one track from my Ext sequencer sending midi out messages on midi channel 5, another track dedicated to midi channel 9, and this doesn't seem possible on NickFit's plugin...
Am i missing something ?

Cheers

(the plugin is located here : http://www.asseca.com/nicfit/midi_out.html)

What I would do is add midi outputs to the sequencer, and rout them to NF's plugin in the main window. Each one of his plugins can be set to send to a different midi device. If you are trying to control 2 hardware synths from teh same midi device on your computer, set one hardware device to receive on only ch 2 and the other to receive on only ch 3. Then in XT for the tracks set the tracks to send only on the channle you want for that synth. Somehting like this:

thank you Soma.
But sadly I have downloaded your .xt file, without succeeding to open it in Ext2b :(

how do you do this ?
You can already specify a midi channel for each track ? that would be nice.

Yes you can. select the midi track in the sequencer (not the clip but on the left, the track) the tool bar at the top will have a box for midi channel.

I've re-uploaded the song. I tried to open it before and got a regular blank song.
edit- it happened again. Try saving the file to your HD first, opening XT and then opening the song. I'll write up a BR for the song opeing thing.

thank you !
In fact, it was rather obvious
but the horizontal bar was in "hidden" mode, so i didn't noticed the selectable midi channel.

yep
it looks ok now, i get it !

Hi all...

The Velonotes2cc plugin seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, only problem is that I have absolutely no clue how to set it up in Cubase SX 2. Are there any docs available for these plugins or would some kind soul like to give me a pointer or two? :)

Found Soma_taptempo_alpha
This is just the plug-in I was looking for!

Thank You!

(Hope you can find the source some day to clean it up a bit, but for now it works fine for me.)

Does a midi plugin exist that will toggle midi notes? Press C-3 once, it'll send a note-on, press C-3 again and it'll send a note-off?

I couldn't find one, so I was about to write one, but then I remembered this thread and thought I'd just ask here before starting.

You can do this fairly quickly with the eXT1 Midi Part comp - using the "Note Toggle" trigger option. Post back if you need further explanation...

Thanks piz - I just knew this would be the right place to ask :-) Would be great though if it had a GUI so you could see the current status of the switches... or I could just use any VST that has a piano widget on it I guess.
