I'd be pissed
But it's not the norm. In fact, I hear glowing reviews all the time. I am surprised though that money was "kept" for that period of time. Pretty sure bigger places like MF/GC/SW have not done that for a while (though they used to, and we'd hear about it
)

Depending on the color, I'll get you a new Korean JTV for $699 or a B-Stock for $650. I'm still trying to get you a USA model for the lower price but the Line 6 guy stopped responding to me about it.Mattschroed wrote:A word of warning for anyone shopping at JRRShop. I purchased a Line 6 USA Variax from them on Nov 1st, even posted the deal on these forums because it was ridiculously good. A week later I'm told they were expecting the USA models to ship soon and mine would be in that shipment. 20 days later they emailed me that they made a pricing mistake and were trying to work with Line 6 to resolve it. No problem, the deal on the USA model was silly good so when they told me it was a mistake if it had to be canceled I would have been disappointed but could understand them canceling it.
Today, 2 months after placing my order, the last day of the Line 6 Variax specials, they tell me my order has been canceled. I had to email them to get an answer this week, like all correspondence about this sale I had to contact them first. A little pissed by the whole experience.
I passed up a bunch of good deals on the Korean Variax models so if anyone knows of a good deal that's available TODAY please let me know. Please don't post a link to one on JRRShop

Where are the January deals, already?!?!?
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

Hi Uncle E, is this still true?Uncle E wrote:Thank you for pointing these issues out! I have corrected both of them, now Nemesis is $179 and gets an automatic extra 15% discount when you add it to your cart.lnikj wrote:Regarding the Tone2 deal … Best Service has Electra 2, Rayblaster & Nemesis all @ €149, whereas JRR has the first two @ $179 and Nemesis at $199.
Notwithstanding that, when adding Nemesis to the cart there is no automatic discount, whereas there is for the other two. Is this intended?
I'm trying to take advantage of the Tone2 deal with Gladiator and Nemesis, but none of them seems to get the extra discount. When either one is added to cart, a red message shows: «Coupon codes are not available for this product (name of the product)»

Want to big up the Total Dance Zero-G series, buy them together or separate at $12 each:
http://www.zero-g.co.uk/store/total-dan ... s-p493.php
Each contains about 1500 one shot samples, may be old, but this kind of material is very useful still, when working with tablet DAWs like Caustic for example.

I'm sorry, they asked us to remove that while the 2-for-1 deal is going on.GreyLord wrote:Hi Uncle E, is this still true?Uncle E wrote:now Nemesis is $179 and gets an automatic extra 15% discount when you add it to your cart.

Anyone know how long the KResearch sale at JRRshop will last? BTW, incase the developer is listening, I'm finding the demo experience to be one of the WORST I've experienced. Not only does it seemingly CONSTANTLY have white noise (which is VERY ANNOYING AND LOUD) but there are functions that I cannot adjust. For example I'm demoing the KRSpace and I cannot adjust the feedback level of the AOSE, so when the effect seems to much / goes on too long, I cannot adjust it to see how it would sound with less feedback! Very bad decision.
Even still, I think I'm seeing the potential in this product...maybe. Need to see if I can put up with the demo any longer to see (thus my question about how long the sale will last). Also what type of Copy Protection does it use? Hopefully a license file that can be stored on my system?

I've just had the same experience sadly, and completely agree, it doesn't seem to have any presets and to make it worse the sound is dry/everything disabled when opened and I had to work out how to get any effect out of it. I'm afraid I lost patience by about 10 noise bursts which is a shame... I think it should really open with a showcase preset, and definitely have all parameters available for tweaking. A demo timeout after 20 minutes would be much more bearable than the noise, and/or the inability to save/recall settings.LGK_Dude wrote:Anyone know how long the KResearch sale at JRRshop will last? Hopefully the developer will take the criticism constructively

I'm on a Mac and it does open with a preset (that can't be changed).Astralp wrote:I've just had the same experience sadly, and completely agree, it doesn't seem to have any presets and to make it worse the sound is dry/everything disabled when opened and I had to work out how to get any effect out of it. Edit: There are a lot of presets that can be changed from the DAW but not the plugin as far as I can see.
Some of the controls work and some don't. It is, I agree, a massively frustrating experience trying to demo it.
I wonder how many potential sales they have lost over the years because of the demo restrictions/noise.
