user blafarm wanted to buy a plugin from me.
by mistace i gave the wrong paypal email (phone auto changed de to net).
this has never happened to me bevore here on KVR in 9 years.

i apologized and tried to resolve the issue
but instead i received offensive insults i cannot even write here.
f bombs all arround and other insults.

such behaviour is unacceptable
kvr support contacted.

please take note.

I contacted KVR member musicjunk to purchase a plugin from him.
I requested his PayPal email address and he told me it was: "[His Name]@gmx.net"
As you can see, I have redacted his name, but I can tell you that I doubt anyone else has that name.

I quickly issued a "Friends & Family" payment to him for the full amount he requested.
This was my "bad", but the plugin was so close to retail price it didn't make sense otherwise.

I notified him that the payment had been issued and asked for confirmation that he received it.
He claimed he had not received it, and then told me I had used the wrong PayPal address.
He proceeded to tell me that I should have issued the payment to: "[His Name]@gmx.de".

I told him that was not the address he had originally provided.
I also shared a PayPal link proving I had issued the payment to his original PayPal email address.
Then he told me "everything will be fine" and that I should just "ask him/her to send the money back".
Yeah, right, it's just that simple. Won't take any time at all.
Everyone knows that "Friends & Family" PayPal payments are non-recourse.

His actions have cost me hours of work and anguish, and he made absolutely no effort to make it right.
Let me be abundantly clear -- he DID NOT try to resolve the issue -- he just made it my problem to solve.

My suspicion is that he controls both of the PayPal email addresses he provided to me.
His redacted name is so unique that I have trouble imagining how anyone else would use it.
If so, that would make it very easy for him to claim to have not received a payment.

True or not, I was very angry that he put me in this position, wasting my time and money.
When I continued to express my anger, he threatened me by saying "Say me that in my face".
Evidently his way of telling me that he would inflict bodily harm if I expressed my anger to his face.

musicjunk has chosen to litigate this matter in this Feedback Thread.

I think that's fine and fair, it's his right as member of this forum.
I will say that I had absolutely no intention on commenting on this publicly.
But he made his decision -- and he forced me to share my experience.

I have successfully, and honorably, sold a number of items on this forum and others.
And my feedback on this forum and others is uniformly very good.

I have never before encountered this level of repugnant behavior.
And, to be fair, I would not be surprised if musicjunk felt the same way.

Once again, following musicjunk's ill-advised approach, I must also notify the KVR admin.
Yet another step that is both unnecessary and an annoyance to the admin, who undoubtedly has better things to do.

Just to clarify the facts:

I accidentally gave the buyer Blafarm the wrong PayPal email due to smartphone autocorrect — it was @gmx.net instead of @gmx.de.

I was the one who followed up two days later to ask where the payment was — that's how the mistake was discovered.

I never asked for or suggested using “Friends & Family” — that was entirely the buyer’s decision.

Once the issue was clear, I stayed calm, offered help, and asked for proof of payment to assist in resolving it.


I fully acknowledge my email mistake and take responsibility for that. But being insulted and publicly accused of fraud is unfair and unacceptable.

I’ve been part of this community for nearly a decade with over 400 posts and a clean record. I'm open to a fair resolution — ideally with moderation — but I won’t tolerate defamation.
