There's something strange indeed with these prices. Firstly, the US list price is way too high, $499 against €399, whereas the Euro price includes VAT, the US price does not.
Secondly, $343 still is a great price. If you need Omni now, go Best Services.
Also, comparing different currencies when checking prices seems quite interesting. Sometime you'd better order the Euro or Sterling price and calculate the Dollar conversion yourself, instead of paying the originally indicated Dollar price. I'm a convert

And sometimes even all prices are exactly the same between currencies. Bought a download plug-in last week that had a £12.50/$12.50/€12.50 price tag, with the Sterling price being the original one (at a British webstore). Evidently went for the Dollar one.

Two tabs, copy/paste and quote.
If you want the author included, you can either open a reply with quote, copy or you can just type

Groove Machine is not my go-to synth (I don't like Maxx plugins), but price is great... I will think about it.

Which one is worth it?

Sonik Synth is my favourite. People around here say it's outdated and maybe it is, but it still has lots of useful sounds and raw waveforms, and it's CPU/RAM friendly.
Samplemoog and Sampletron are good value if you're into that. I like samplemoog for programming leads. But yes, Sonik Synth library is the one which gets used more often.
When loaded in Sampletank they become a very immediate multitimbral workstation, intuitive and easy to program.

Yes, it is - price is 24.90$

It shows £45.99 here in KVR Audio.

There was a bundle that I used to contemplate from them, but I recall the plug-ins had some major format restriction (or maybe it was just no RTAS, which could be major if that's your format).

I just saw a clearance sale of upgrade [boxed] from Ableton 7 to 8 in my local music store.

They are asking something like USD20 for a box.

Worthwhile or totally obsolete ?

I guess a proper printed manual is always nice to have....

Certainly worthwhile if Ableton will give you a free upgrade to 9. Also, it's possible that upgrade will actually upgrade any older Ableton, not just 7, which is how the current upgrades work.

Please try again now, I changed a setting that I think will fix it.
