Okay, this is weird and disturbing --

Last night, shortly after 8 pm I posted a Musicians Friend Stupid Deal of the Day in the No chat thread. It was for IKM Studio Pro for $69. It got at least one like here, but no discussion in this thread, which surprised me a bit.

I went to bed shortly thereafter. My post is gone today. This deal would have blown up a big chunk of IK's Group Buy, IMHO. More googling indicates that this was a legit deal, and a few people across the net indicated that they'd completed the deal. But --

The ad copy on the MF page was for Studio MAX, not Studio Pro, which was a semi-understandable mistake, considering how IK slices up their products. I'm assuming that MF was actually selling the Pro version.

I've never had a post flat out vanish into the void here. Not to get all conspiratorial, but could IK have had it killed? I didn't think anyone had that kind of stroke at KVR, or why that would make any sense anyhow.

1. First I recieve a mail with a discount kode at 50 pct for ANY purchase

2. Then when I try to use this for the Tomofon expansion-bundle, default price 99 usd, I get an error-message saying that the code is not eglible for bundles, despite they prommised in the mail the code was for ANY purchase

So the problem, and the unfriendly upgrade-path for old customers without expansions, and the fact of not being valued with the same possibility to get a reduction, like anyone else, is still the same problem, like it has been for a long time, as I tryed to explain

If not clear now, I give up to explain

I went back to sleep afterward, but tried to find your post when I woke up. I thought it was deleted since it was only a few hours before the Stupid Deal changed. I thought it was a good deal for getting into the group buy at the $299 tier. I'm not sure if they honored it like that though, because I just happened to check my hardware and noticed that it was only showing my ancient irig keys and not my irig duo, so I entered the serial number and I was entered at $299 anyway (I got the notice of free items). The Total Studio Pro showed up in my account, but it hadn't given me the free items notice. My tiers just say irig duo pro as I don't think they allow double-dipping. I have no idea if they are counting that Total Studio Pro purchase or not. Forgive me if this is unintelligible nonsense, as I'm having a rough time getting started today.

I believe double-dipping is fine this year as it has been for the previous years too:

It would be great to somehow use the Humble Bundle $1 for Miroslav CE to get in on the deal, but I think it would need to be the full version of Miroslav. Or does it have to be bought directly from IK for that to work?
