I saw this deal which seems good, as long as it’s a one-time payment.

To install waves plugins you need to install waves central https://www.waves.com/downloads/central ... DA1NTU5MTE.Examigan wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 2:03 pmI logged in to their site to check. Under “My Products”, it seems there’s no way to download something again. I do see the “Renew Coverage” button, but no download for the older version.ATS wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:43 pmyou can download it and use it still but if you want the latest version you have to buy the Waves Update Plan for it.Examigan wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:38 pm Do Waves licenses have a time limit of some sort? I just bought those reverbs you linked and I feel like it was a good deal.

But he was right. I think many of us felt the same, rules are rules for a reason, that thing simply distracts, he just had guts to express it. And thanks for the heads up, really a great deal.writheuk wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 7:54 pm No probs.. That quote was to the eye-rolling Liberace wannabe, not you.

There's a historical reason for the text-only rule in that thread. Long ago, KVR was much more a free-for-all, and the Deals thread ended up looking like Las Vegas on bad LSD. All kinds of videos and flashing lights and huge colored fonts. It was an enshittification war, and it kept getting worse and worse.
Earlier this year, I accidentally posted there with a vid link, was immediately corrected, and am grateful for that.

Still looking for a voucher, if anyone can help.telecharge wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 4:18 am Does anyone have a spare $25 Native Instruments voucher that I can get from them by gift, trade, or purchase?
FWIW, I think the NI vouchers last 3 months from when you receive them.

I sent one that says it expires Dec 14. So they appear to actually be good for 6 months.telecharge wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 9:48 pmStill looking for a voucher, if anyone can help.telecharge wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 4:18 am Does anyone have a spare $25 Native Instruments voucher that I can get from them by gift, trade, or purchase?

Does anyone know how long the UA Holiday Mix Tape bundle is going to be on sale for? I'm tempted by Studio D, Waterfall B3 and Fairchild. Though I need to do more demo-ing.
What's the general consensus on Fairchild plugins, is the UA one considered 'the best'? It sounds very good in my testing so far.

Is there a way to demo the Alex Lifeson collection for Tonex? I have the basic Tonex and didn’t see any demo version of the collections, so I’m guessing not..
I’m thinking of upgrading to Total Studio Max 5 for that Lifeson stuff and Pianoverse.

Acustica Ultramarine sounds more like the hardware 670, but also uses much more cpu than UA. It's been used by Grammy-nominated mixing engineer Bainz, among others.
The Unfairchild plugin is very good but emulates a modern clone that's a bit different. Acustica's Midnight includes several very good modern Fairchild clones including the Unfairchild and sounds more 3D and IMO better overall than the Unfairchild plugin, though the Unfairchild plugin has more low-mid/low-end weight.

They didn't tell us. I'm assuming it ends on December 31, together with the other sales this month.R_A wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 9:58 am Does anyone know how long the UA Holiday Mix Tape bundle is going to be on sale for?
I had a Stamchild and they sounded the same as each other for the settings I was using. What's the general consensus on Fairchild plugins, is the UA one considered 'the best'?
