I've come across the same thing with macs. Other people's, I never owned one.

My audio PC is an older Dell latitude, certainly not made for audio, and it runs Tracktion just fine, even getting 10-15ms latency when recording midi using the on board crap soundcard.

See ...10-15 ms is way too high for me.

That sort of latency to me, means the PC is
either not setup right or is too slow.

I was just joking.. But it was funny that it was shaped like a lot of poems I've seen..
Short sentence --> continued on next line ---> Short sentence --> continued on next line ---> Short sentence --> continued on next line ---> And so on..

either not setup right or is too slow.

Most people don't use the on-board soundcard at all. Just put a proper soundcard in and you can get low latencies.
