I just got a splendid thought!

Its a host like reason, but with vst. Load your vsts in the rack. Why is this so cool? Because you can flip the rack around, and patch CCs like crazy! (particularly great with the matrix from reason) Now I for one dont like the sound of reason, filters is shit, etc. But I loved the modular aspect of it, and did lots of creative things with it, before I sold it. Emagine patching up your faforite vsts!

Just a thought!

maybe not bad, but what with synths with hundreds of parameters to automate? (sytrus as example: it has a REALLY LONG list of automatable/midi-controller-assignable values)
the back of it would really get cluttered like hell.
MacMini M2 Pro MacOS Tahoe ……… Reason 14

Patching? There are already several hosts capable of insane patching.

Same with Dimension...it has loads of automatable parameters. I guess the only way around that would be to have a limit on how many patch cables you can have (say 16) and right-click each 'socket' to assign a parameter to it...

URETHRA! I have found it.

It's the hole in my weiner that I pee and spooge out of.

**edit: edited out for several reasons.

When I ever get to code my host idea, it'll be similar to this (codename Volgin... :))

Maybe I'm the odd one out here but I've never liked
the patch cord thingy in Reason.

I just don't get why they would want to emulate an
outdated, antiquated hardware paradigm in software?
The few times I've used Reason I've always turned it off.
Useless eyecandy IMHO.

Sounds like XT...

Dreamer looks almost exactly like reason, and uses both internal machines, and the ability to import vst/vsti.
The home page is down however.Maybe development has stopped?

With FL Studio you can view a list of the CC's right in the browser to the side. I've never come across a better system of doing so.
