living sounds wrote:I take bets on this being impossible. :-) There's already a file with a static and rather unsuited reverb availible (check the IR vs algorithmic thread). I'll provide a better example soon.
Would you be able to supply the 300L settings for that file?

Remember that you cant turn off modulation for the following algorithms even with a value of 0 for spin :

Random Hall
Random Ambience

I will provide the settings. Turning of the modulation IS actually possible for all algorithms, as the file that was sent through the hardware almost cancels out with a file that was subjected to convolution - the remaining difference is, apart from noise and DC offset generated by the lexicon unit, the slight difference in quality as described above.

Oh, very interresting and cheering :)

So, I put up a little song that has got loads of reverb in it. The archive contains a short mix, the individual tracks and the two reverb busses (wet). Try to mach this with any reverb plugin(combination), so the song sounds as lively, transparent and has the same (insanly high) reverb level.

Settings are:
Lex1: Contem Plate, get the exact settings from the manual at Lexiconpro.com
Lex2: Random Ambience, Size 29,8m, Rev Time 1.5s, L Delay 107, R Delay 0, Diffusion 46, Spin 40, Wnader 22,8m, Rev Lv1 - 9dB, Rolloff 8.9k

Sorry Martin, I just understood at this moment that you need the settings from the file with modulation turned of. I'll do an entirely new test tomorrow to verify it and will post the files as well as the settings!

Gregor

Hmmm....sounds like the same verb throughout to me but then again, I'm a loud guitar player...maybe my ears are shot...
Play what you feel and feel what you play.

.

Sure, that it's two different reverbs (beerkeek, did you mean that file above?)? And to me it does sound like wet only. Which isn't bad at all.

cheers,

Yup...that's the one...it sounds very consistent to me that's all...I could only detect a slight low end difference but like I said, my ears might be fired...
