Mouse wheel and mouse buttons as inputs for custom shortcuts?? Is it possible in XT2? Didn't look like it yet from the shortcut screen shot. But maybe they show up under that key menu
I also remember jorgen saying that midi would work for shortcuts.

{ps I just noticed that Global tab on the setup! Can't wait to see what's there!}

The global tab sounds like it will include what you currently have under options->project and options->preferences.
Dunno what's up with mouse functions, maybe they're too widely integrated into the workflow that jorgen doesn't "free" them for assignments ..., but could be as well on a location not shown on the screenshot though
*speculation, speculation*
About mouse functions, in some way they're surely not really comparable functionwise to key shortcuts (mouse cursor position ...), so that could be the reason why they're not included.
Would make sense. And triggering an action from a mouse-click would get in multiple ways ...
Midi would be awesome though
maybe with a special kind of port to direct the messages to.
(or how about a "shortcut comp" with just a single midi in port
)
