Yeah. I think I did it better here though. However, Iridesynth's Revenge takes the whole concept to a new dimension. Yeah, I said that silly shit.liars&ashes wrote:didn't you do the weird/insane color gradient rotation trick on Iridesynth ?

There can be, but not the way I put my LFOs together. You'd need to use probably an oscillator or an LFO that can receive a MIDI triggered pitch IN. Or use fancy gating techniques with MIDI initiations/releases. Or perhaps use a predefined numerical array who's field's are determined by fixed values that change depending on "LFO" waveform user selection, then the array's release cascade could be triggered via MIDI pulse, and the release cascade speed could be controlled by host tempo. It's all very doable. But I digress... The only way to do that with NUCLEAR CRANIUM is by adjusting the LFO speeds by hand until they fall in sync with the input source material. Still doable in present state, but not automagically so.OzoneJunkie wrote: a way to have the LFOs "retrigger"

Thanks afreshcupofjoe. That really made me feel a bit better.

Thanks Mayan.

Sickle, Merry Christmas to you too. Wait. Sickle?! Whudda thunk?

I took the liberty of adding some of the user feedback on this thread and posting it on the NUCLEAR CRANIUM webpage. I'll add more if more develops, thanks everybody.

Thanks for this Yule Noisemaker! This does wonder to make bass tracks sound nasty as hell! (And the inside joke of naming a preset "Unchecked Ego" had me laughing my ass off!)

Your plugins are really nice jack. But I think I just figured out why I dont want to buy them. I very much like the effects it can make and I think it would help me make music in a tremendous way. It is because I use eXT and it doesn't support GUI tweaking. A lot of your plugs work well because the gui has xy type of things. In eXT its much easier to use simple one purpose plugs with few parameters to keep track of, because you either have to route a cc to parameter and record with a controller, or you just need to route a cc to parameter and route an envelope to a cc. Its quite a hassle for me to automate tons of stuff. Once XT2 gets gui automation Ill probably be way into trying out your buyware stuff. XT2 already has direct parameter access in the automation so its a step in the right direction. I miss using fruityloops and Buzz tracker with Polac's wrappers.

Sounds sir, like your problem is your host not my VSTs.funkadil wrote:It is because I use eXT and it doesn't support GUI tweaking. In eXT its much easier to use simple one purpose plugs with few parameters to keep track of. Its quite a hassle for me to automate tons of stuff.

Well, NUCLEAR CRANIUM is indeed the final officially designed to be FREE from the outset VST designed/released by me.
The reasons I've stopped doing freeware are myriad (notated in the .TXT file somewhat). But let's remember that I've released dozens of free VST, of which 18 or so are still available from JackDark.NET's server.
But I'm not done with buyware VST. There are a bit more NOVUZEIT updates (which are free to previous purchasers) / new products coming, and the five DarkZeit (working title) ones as well.

Hope you had a good holiday? I didnt get a chance to mess much with this for time was spent with wrapping paper in one hand, tape in the other while trying to fight Christmas singers away from our door - all the while drunk and burning the dinner! But now that I have...

I know my problem is my host. But my host is much too useful for me to switch. I'm just saying your plugs are quality and deserve to be bought and I will buy one someday.
