How much longer do we have to enter a demo? I'll try to get one in today if there's time.

Okay - here is a demo (drums only) where you can hear the Z4 snare mixed in with the original snare for the first 4 bars, without for the next 4 bars, and with again for the final 4 bars. It isn't much but it's the first time I've ever posted any music online.

The Z4 certainly makes the snare more alive. Hope I've made it into the drawing!

Here's my contribution - I made up a Kontakt instrument with 5 groups of 5 multisampled Z1 snares in a "round robin" stylie.
Then did the same with the Z4 snares and layered them so you can add as much of the ambiance as you like. Also you can adjust the decay to shorten the 'verb.
Quick and rough but that's how I like it....

guys these demos sound great, thanks for going so in depth with showing exactly what the sample is adding. Very impressive. I'll draw four names tomorrow, I was out of the office all day today.

Well.. not trying to be an ass about it but some of us really hustled to get a demo in by the announced deadline (drawing on Thursday). Of course it's totally up to Stephen.

lethe, if you can, please post your file on evilshare.com or savefile.com, your first link gives me an .html file download instead (with any browser) and the mediafire page gives me a 404 error when I download the file.

Shy - that's weird. The mediafire site worked yesterday but now gives me a 404 error also. The swoopshare site still works for me using Firefox. Regardless, here you go:

Let me know if it works for you.
By the way, if you can't get it, you're really not missing much.

i don't much care which way you meant it. while i respect that you, and others, have rushed to get an mp3 finished, i didn't even know about this until a few hours ago. if i had, i definitely would have been working on it days ago.lethe wrote:Well.. not trying to be an ass about it but some of us really hustled to get a demo in by the announced deadline (drawing on Thursday).
